FRASER ISLAND SOLO MOTORCYCLE ADVENTURE | PART TWO | DRZ400E

Part two of my Fraser Island Adventure. This was one of the best days of riding I've ever had. I head north towards the tip of Fraser Island, coming across some challenges such as Ngkala rocks bypass track.

I worked at the USA Pavilion at Expo 88 in Brisbane. My parents came for a visit, and I rented 4x for day trip out of Noosa. One of the best days I ever had with my mom and dad. Thanks for bringing back a great memory.

Straight out of th surf, filleted, and straight into a hot fryin pan. Man, they are deeelishus, washed down with a Coldy, and you’ll think you’re in Heaven, and you are, of course, cause you’re in Sunny Qld, where it’s beautiful one day, and perfect, the next. 😉😁😁😁👍

Those rocks after nagala change all the time. Some years there's nothing others it's like a coffee rock hwy the whole way. Changes everytime I ride there. It's the best place hey

Hi. Thanks for sharing. Much like my trip in 2012 on a DR650 but I started from Hervey bay and left via Rainbow beach. 2nd day was the best as I also camped at Cathedral so was lightly loaded. That experience in the soft sand, spinning and walking to keep moving, rings bells. Enjoy your adventure. Time I do another one. 😊

I've seen so many people get bogged into that soft sand patch on the way up to the tip, sahara's, hilux, Patrols, Pajero's, I've even seen some nanga in a Toyota Echo have a rip at it while 4 Hilux are bogged infront of them, needless to say, they where still there when we where on our way back down.

Cheers, my first visit to Fraser Island was a disaster. Ride with a group, running late, didn't air down, winter jacket, got heat exhaustion, they fucked up the lunch reservations. That night buy the time I set up my tent & then collapsed when I stood up. Missed Diner, slept all night forgetting to zip the tent up, covered in fly bites and collapsed again trying to get to breakfast. The ambulance officer wanted to chopper me out. Being stubborn, I missed the flight out. Shit happens when you're old & stupid. Time to try again.

Hi mate. Great content. What is the tool bag on your fender and does it stay on well? Doing Simpson in 8 weeks (when the bloody water leaves!) and looking for a tool bag like that.

Hey mate it’s an acerbis fender bag. It’s never came off the front fender at all. Just get a fender brace as well so it can handle the added weight 👍🏼

one thing you have to see on fraser is the light house, there is fruit trees planted there many years ago, peachs and much more , no fruit fly as it is to far from the mainland, did it in 85 , it was pristine, then , toyota fishing comp, orchid resort there then to, been back 20 times since, but far to many people now, it is not the same any more ! toyota fj40 shoet whelbase towing a 20ft seafareer , no problems then , only getting off indian head beach , was wild then !
