The Costa Smeralda is a beautiful ship. One of the most beautiful ships I sailed on! I was not at all disappointed.

Its lovely to hear how enthusiastic you feel about this ship. I always cruise with Costa and don't understand why this company has such a bad name. The food is wonderful, staff are incredible, cabins are comfortable, prices are acceptable and I like the relaxed atmosphere. Personally I prefer the smaller older ships but thats probably because of my age. Keep up the good work, I love your accent!

Hello! I stayed at a hotel called Hostal Paris - I’d recommend for the location, but really basic. I just needed somewhere to get my head down!

Hey, thanks for watching! We enjoyed the ‘My Drinks Plus’ mostly due to the all inclusive nature, and it wasn’t too expensive at all when we booked! It included waters, coffees, lots of mocktails, then we could have whatever else, whenever we wanted!

Good question! Costa charge gratuities daily to your room, and that covers the tips for the crew. From memory, I think it’s about €12-15 a night - it’ll be charged straight to your account!

@@FraserAtSea sorry traveling it was third 3rd level down with Columbus era gent but I figured it out as I was fast and reversing to identify the 3 murals I retry the back and forth and he did look like a nod. Heck with animatronics it won’t be long before the ships can. Beautiful murals.
