Anyone remember back to he and Lilith guesting on Wings with their travelling psychiatric roadshow, "The Crane Train to Mental Health", complete with engineer's cap and train whistle? Frasier has always leaned hilariously into the theatric and money-making ventures. I love this show.

In one Frasier episode, he alluded to Frasier's advice as being "McAdvice" or similar. I think that Niles would be quite cross with Frasier. This is one of the first of the new episodes of Frasier that I have seen.

Full time working on a TV show... He probably had that as an outlet to express his thoughts 😊 Oh and they really like it when you were published in the last 10 years, because old papers are often considered outdated because new research is always conducted which tends to add to the science in a matter that may contradict or overwrite older perceptions.

Yeah, I just watched the S7 episode Morning Becomes Entertainment again the other night where he co-hosts a tacky TV show with Bebe and you can see this new episode is rooted in it. There, Niles showed him how he'd descended from "legitimate psychiatrist to dancing bear." Olivia says she wants the dancing bear. Also, Frasier dressed up silly outfits, chefs uniform and wearing silly hats was just like the show he briefly hosted and nearly stayed on permanently.

I thought it was a ridiculous idea to give Frasier his own show after Cheers. I thought it would fail. Fortunately, I thought wrong. Frasier was extraordinarily funny and brilliant. This was by the funniest scene in the whole new series, however they missed something here. Just as Frasier obsessively kept cassette tape recording of each of his radio shows, we could have seen here him scrolling through files and files on his laptop to get to the two clips he played in order to demonstrate how he made sure he had a digital copy of each of his TV episodes as well. Alan could have commented on that.

I have never seen his show except when John Oliver uses it as a punchline. The nicest way I can say it is that Tom Arnold is considered a has-been so it shows how hokey Frasier’s show is

Sweet Lord! .. that top-notch, sharp Frasier writing seems to be back! .. and, how much we missed the sibling rivalries theme! Niles: Frasier, I have made a fist and I am thinking of using it! Frasier: You are not scaring me, and the thumb goes on the outside ... the OUTSIDE!

Well on one hand i prefer this to the lazy reboot trend of "radio show host in the 90s/00s now has a podcast" like they did with Sex and the City. At least this is pretty funny, also it explains how he could afford to buy Freddy's building

Niles would be jealous of course. On the other hand he would denounce Frasier’s TV show for being a blatant mockery of the psychiatric profession. Mostly though he would be jealous.

I loved the original but was concerned when the trailer came out - seemed flat and the laughter forced and fake. If you watched the original first episode, it hit the ground running. I'm three episodes in and barely laughed once. Sorry folks, but like the recent Indiana Jones, some things are best left unmade 😢
