What a great episode. Full of so many funny and endearing moments. And the David and Alan naming and getting others to name Santa's reindeer is brilliant and hilarious.

Haha! An excellent point, that might be lost on American viewers? Maybe it'll lead to fruitful googling the career of Nicholas Lyndhurst? A good use of time! 😅

Alan is incredible and it's a shame we never got to see him in the original "Frasier." I imagine him acting as the devil on Frasier's shoulder against Niles's angel, goading Frasier to do the self-destructive thing. David makes for an excellent foil to Alan as well, and I can't wait to see these two continue their dynamic.

David and Alan in the last two episodes have become a phenomenal duo. The chemistry and the comic timing is perfect. Also it’s really sweet, especially David’s reason last week when he said Alan was helping David to become more independent. More importantly David has become somewhat a companion / carer for Alan much like Daphne was for Martin.

Indeed. I was thinking the David character was being underused during the first several episodes. There are a few chinks of life in this series which may bode well for a second series. I'm also getting used to Nicholas Lyndhurst (from a UK viewpoint, his previous roles have made that a bit of a challenge.)

The scenes with David and Alan have generated the biggest laughs from me. I LOVED the scene when David separated the marshmallows from the box of Lucky Charms, or so he thought. I rolled when Alan flicked that blue marshmallow in David's face.

@@dianas3627yeah, it wasn’t in this particular clip, but it’s one of the scenes that made me bust out laughing. I completely agree with you. I wasn’t sure I was going to like this show, given the hit or miss luck of most of these old series reboots. But this has been a hit for me. Just enough nostalgia, while being funny in a thoroughly modern way. Also love Frazier’s side-kick….the anti-Niles! Kelsey Grammer definitely knows what he’s doing! By doing this show, and doing it well, he’s sort taken the historical relevance of “Cheers” and made it the opening act of “The Life of Frazier.”😊👏

I have hopes these two will become so insufferable after a few more episodes that they have to be separated. Also, Freddie looking at Frasier's rant seemed like he expected it.

The actor who played the plumber, Andy Daley, is always hilarious and such a scene stealer. He played Roland the plumber and stole the scene masquerading as a professor from Harvard University. Hilarity ensued!

That's Andrew Daly, who was on MADtv in the early 2000s (when most people kind of drifted away from the show, either because SNL was getting good again or they just forgot about it. I don't think anyone thought about MADtv after the 1990s until it was announced in 2009 that it would be canceled because FOX was shutting down its late-night Saturday block).

I thought Donna would have been easier than other raindear names Freddie could simply ask if anyone has seen Donna at the party, without explaining who she was supposed to be the other person would then ask who Donna was , or would that be cheating in this game?

@@chuckbarkley2182 Alan takes a while....certainly from a British perspective. The more minor characters such as Eve Olivia and Nicole are not well-honed. Penny Johnson Jerald (Larry Sanders secretary) would have been a better age and match.
