Thank you for the recap of Geneva Watch days. It’s nice to see different timepieces and to hear about the actual atmosphere of the event. Great job!

Very expensive in Geneva of course, but very interesting. Loved seeing the Mirage from up close. Vintage Doxa models were cool to see. Was pleased to be able to meet Mr Laurent Ferrier, and meeting other watch enthusiasts in person was really good too 😊

Wearing my 145.0022 speedy as well while watching this. Have you ever though about doing sort off spin off podcast focusing on specific watch model per podcast? Like one podcast just about speedy covering history, early and modern models and discussing what makes it special in watch world and where do you see it going in future? Then maybe one on submariners, navitimers etc.

I agree with RJ, watch enthusiasts talking about brands other than those displaying is collateral, and almost inevitable. If it was the brands trying to stop that, it's not a good look and does you no favours. If it's the hotel, then you're presenting the wrong attitude on behalf of your clients. Lighten up, watch afficionados will talk about watches.

You guys forgot about this year’s real winner of GWD; Armin Strom !

Thanks for the recap. And DSK1234 (stormtrooper serial number/name perhaps?) is right. An episode on bracelets and clasps would be very interesting.

You all should offer to sell books like the Breitling book, create your online library featuring books that have your stamp of approval. Could be watches, but could be others also… Cars, etc.

We do sell some books! In the Fratello Shop :)

Did you get a chance to see the new Armin Strom 39mm resonance?
@FratelloMagazine2 ай бұрын
Of course, very impressive! We have covered it on our website www.fratellowatches.com/introducing-the-armin-strom-dual-time-gmt-resonance-first-edition/, but will do a hands-on at a later time.

Is the rumours true that next year there won't be any Geneva Watch Days, instead it will be Zürich Watch Days? Do you have any update on this? By the way Lex (sorry if I spelled it wrong) is a really cool guy, but he was always busy so I couldn't come and say hello. And one last thing about the Norwegian brand. One of yours guys at Fratello named Dave is associated with the brand (he wrote himself) and he wrote an article about them without mentioning this situation. Did not find it very ethical... All the best, love your videos...

No word on Zurich Watch Days, we haven't heard about it either. Next year it will just be Geneva Watch Days, we're confident about it. The only thing that took place in Zurich this year was an event with Breitling the day before GWD started.

Agree with RJ why make such a nice BP chrono and then limited the line???

That fact that GP didn’t drop a new Laureato is laughable.

Awww😢 the Swiss had to work over the weekend? And it all set up just after their 4-6 weeks summer holidays too. This is terrible. How can they be asked to work so hard 🤔
@greenman7782 ай бұрын
That was a little tone deaf. RJ tried to course correct when he said that the weekend was for enthusiasts. He brands (and the watch “journalists”) should remember who their customers are!
@marcn87502 ай бұрын
@@greenman778 yeah agree. Oh well, just a light hearted poke from me on it. But on a serious note, the Swiss watch industry is going through this slump and they are still worried about weekend work and such … 🤷🏻♂️ I’m in Asia and we it’s almost 10 pm here in Singapore and I just got off a call with a client in Europe. No biggie. 🤝

@@marcn8750 The comment comes from us, not from the Swiss watch industry. We would rather have the GWD during the weekdays, like last year.
