Does Lex’s coat come with the watch lol?! IMO the fit really ties it all together, this man knows how to dress lol 🍻

Wow. I don't know the price but I _know_ I can't afford it. Shame. Absolute masterpiece, congrats! PS should have waited for the last 30 seconds to post this, yep, way out of my budget. Quality does come with a cost. PPS I hope Lex absolutely destroyed his per diem in Paris. I know I would!

The format of this "Podcast" is awesome in today's SOME. The fact that these episodes are not cross-clipped to "entertain" the viewer, makes them all that better. You have found a winning formula. Keep the format for a long time - as it works. All the best. :)

Really stunning. It also comes in a white gold and blue dial version. I love how understated this is. Once again Breguet does not disappoint.

Great talk guys and very well done. Microbrands can give us something different from the traditional brands at a good price point, they also keep the 'big brands on their toes Microbrands a lot times are founded by watch lovers that know the history of more tradition brands but do their on take on what they feel would be an interesting watch to produce. There is a market for more niche type of things like: Leica rangefinders, tube gear, turntables, etc. Keep up the good work !

Great video guys. Your English is fine and what I like is that you come over as true enthusiasts, rather than professional journalists. That is a compliment rather than an insult, as journalists tend to be too clinical and the flavour is more like we the audience are listening into a conversation between a few guys having a chat. Love that format. Congrats on your anniversary🙏🍺

I found the answer about reviews very telling. The standard for independence and journalism in the watch space is so low, it wouldn't fly in any other industry. Imagine if video game review outlets only published the positive reviews. If the latest iPhone comes out imagine all the tech reviewers not reviewing a new product from a major brand unless it's positive. It's only in the watch space where "we just dont publish negative reviews" is proudly proclaimed as journalistic integrity.

We don’t think it’s very different from any other consumer products. Anyway, keep in mind that “product” journalism can hardly be considered as such. That’s why we also don’t claim to be journalists, we are watch writers and like to “edutain”, and we definitely use some journalistic principles, but journalists? No.

Very nice work guys! I'm from Brazil and it's very cool to keep track of a variety of watch subjects from other part of the world.

Its interesting to hear random people's thoughts about this crazy hobby. I was going to ask a question but I couldn't get it down to less than three parts and a chapter and a half so I just gave up. Was about how to deal with criticism of watches you report on but don't make. I get the impression reviewers/ publications take on some level of ownership of the products they review but I might be mistaken, hence the question. Anyways interesting podcast, thanks!

Great video as usual! Question: given a set budget of $10,000 after which you cannot buy any more watches, would you rather have 5-10 watches or just 1? Which would you go for? (I'd have to have 10, as I love variety)

Thanx for this Video. I totally agree with your opinon. Not every Model of Rolex can be stunning favorites. There is so much crap in dials and diamonds... 16600 is a milestone. It combines all tools for charismatic men .

For a nautical themed brand they seemingly lack robust water resistance.

They should 100% bring back the intergrated OysterQuartz case but with an automatic movement. Rebrand it as the OysterSport model line and have a few complications like the OysterSport Datejust, Oystersport GMT and maybe an OysterSport Cosmograph. Rolex's answer to the Nautilus and Royal Oak models. It would sell out for decades.

Picked up a AMZWATCH's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!

Good topic. I wish it was discussed more in detail. But guys please let each other complete. It's a terrible podcast experience when you guys are trying to talk over each other. Try listening to it as a podcast (not KZbin) , I stopped listening to fratello talks because of this cross talk, the topic on this podcast seemed interesting but immediately regretted people trying to put ones point over other.

Excuse my ignorance... but what was/is wrong with the Cabaret? Looks pretty good to me. I don't see people complaining about the reverso.

That steel with the blue dial & thin case is my grail. The dial looks much better then the 5711 aswell which changes colors & is too bulky. This 3700 is Perfect.

Give me them 3 split-chronos (seconds, minutes, and hours) from Lange 🤩 The trilogy unbeatable they are!🔥🔥🔥 Questions for next episode - 1. Have you ever faced snobbery from any brand when doing watch journalism? 2. Did you ever share a watch review and your opinions publicly about which you later look back and don't like it / regret? 3. Which watch brand would you like to be a CEO of? And what would you do? 3 questions for 3 people in front of the camera. 1 question for the person behind the camera - Do you prefer to edit watch photos and videos with digital wizardry or do you prefer to keep them neat, just like a great scotch? @Fratello folks, i like your content and talks. They are different to many others in the same space. Be like Rolex. Don't change. 🤘

116600 gang here. Subs now feel a little pedestrian in comparison, I like the vintage case proportions with the maxi dial, modern bracelet, and ceramic. But still that matte dial with no cyclops. Perfection 🍻

On my search for a top notch dress watch, I had the opportunity to go and check out all the top brands - VC patrimony, JLC master thin, Patek Calatrava, and Lange 1815. All in one day. The Lange was far and beyond above any of the other brands. Weirdly, I looked at Patek after Lange and I was underwhelmed by the Patek which I did not expect. It’s Lange for me.
