The gold plated Universal Geneve Ellipse was my watch. I wondered who bought it. Biggest regret sell of my life! Seriously though I’ve too hairy a wrist for anything that stunning to look good on. Glad it went to a good home and your comments about it are on point. Excellent show BTW!

Gentlemen, outstanding! Outstanding. Dare I say, a little bit of About Effing Time in here? That Cartier, I think it is about how you dress. I had the same dilemma and went for a steel Reverso cos i figured it went better with more casual attire. Huge thanks, Justin, for getting this together! Boss.

I totally get it re the Tank. I’ve lusted after a Must de Cartier but always worry it’s too small. But (per the discussion) I think watches like these just need the right outfit. They work a lot better with a suit/something more formal. Doesn’t need to be a tux, but just something a bit more ‘dressy’.

Fun and informative episode. Justin Hast has the Midas touch for making content like this - thanks for putting it out. And he’s in great company here. Coincidentally, I’m just back from the Time and Tide London space, and Andrew M, Amer, and Ryan are great hosts. Glad to see what they are doing and hope smth like it will come to America soon. Cheers.

Hey Andrew, I have that Cartier as well as the burgundy version. I think it all depends on what you are wearing on the day. If you dress the way you did at Geneva Watch Days this year, the watch will wear very nicely. Much better than an RO Chronograph.

Thoroughly enjoyed this, an excellent selection of watches but also the talk that goes around them. Don’t think the audience selection matters, the best choice is the one the owner loves. Andrew, suggest wearing the Tank more to let yourself bond. They can take a while to adjust to, but if Ali can wear it, the size should be fine for any of us. Looking forward to part 2

I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the AMZWATCH's watches are the most intriguing.

First time seeing your channel. Great work. I can't invest in plated watch unless I knew a professional who owned a plating business. I had so much bad luck with plated Items over time. Maybe plated survives better in cool environments so it suits England.

Great premise and episode! I’ve tried on the 1921 (I could never afford one though). It didn’t work for me. I like Cartier, but I’m going with the UG. Love that watch, especially in steel.

This is seriously my new favourite show! Andrew, that Cartier looks amazing on you. I sometimes switch a watch over to the right wrist, that really makes me look at it differently. Wear it casually, use shirts casually, mix it up.

That VC 1921 is so fantastic, especially in Yellow Gold. I don't understand why they discontinued that version as its my favorite of the metals it has been released in. Man, imagine a 36.5mm yellow gold 1921? Sublime. but my 40mm version will have to suffice :)

As you’re on the fence Andrew with your Cartier, my address is ….🤣🤩👍🏼 Mate I like it! As a lot of comments here, wear it probably with appropriate attire. Personally I wouldn’t over wear it, but wear it on say a coffee date or dinner date with your wife. That VC is bloody awesome btw. Overall a beautiful collection gents!👏🏼
