Yes, every day that they are still living. However, some of us don't have the money for gestures that are this expensive. The cook got just under $52K. The truck was somewhere in that ballpark, and I don't even want to think about the cost of the Ferrari. Showing the love is important. The cost of the gesture is trivial.

Fuck No! Why should children repay their parents for anything, if none of us asked to be here? It was either their vanity and ego of thinking the world needs more of them or a just mistake as to why they're even parents. It's like having a pet, you made the choice, now raise and take care of it and don't expect anything in return from something that didn't ask to be here.

Real love touches the heart and mind...home cooked meals are made with genuine love. The Frat Brothers' act of love was only a tiny fragment of how much their Frat House cook impacted their lives, but paying off her mortgage AND saying aloud to her how much they love her was HUGE. Real love does not include limitations because of race. Bless those men...love the real love they showed.

Big Fraternities usually have members live in the house and have full time cooks, house mother, and helpers. My fraternity was 300 members, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner during the week and a big sunday evening meal.

It's amazing to me how 2 people can see a beautiful moment- one heart is filled with joy and awe the other heart fills with assumed narratives and so much negativity. As an American of African descent I have experienced racism. The frat brothers did an awesome thing. As a parent often forgotten by her children to me this son did an awesome thing. It doesn't pay to begrudge anyone who has more than me. None of us can take it past the grave so I choose, I pray you'll choose to see the good in life and people and celebrate every act of love and appreciation. Life is too short to do otherwise!

The video with the fraternity cook is proof that true love and appreciation is completely color blind. They did not look at her like she was the black cook. They looked at her like she was an extension of their family. And the way that they show their appreciation is beyond beautiful.

Such a wonderful and practical tribute. Nobody should have to wok into their 70's unless they want to. I am so happpy for this lady but there are so many more seniors in the US and here in Canada doing it hard. I hope everyone rading this can commit to an act of kindness for a senior when hey see the need. Those gentlemen hae a sound moral compass.

Or rather what would life be like if people voted correctly at ALL levels of government to make someone is NEVER working 2 minimum wage jobs well into their mid to late 70s+ just to keep paying their bills. Because socialist policies enacted within a true democracy would make this available, automatic, and permanent for everyone. No one should have to break their backs or spirits to keep their lights on, waiting for the kindness of strangers to help change their lives. What these men did is beyond loving, but making the right voting choices makes something similar to this available to everyone.

I say this the frat boys did a great thing for her she was great to them and they in return was great to her. I not going to lie I see color you color everyone sees color unless you are blinded or color blind then you cant. But color has nothing to do with how we should treat each other. Everyone deserves a chance in life with love form one to another no matter what unless they are ugly as a whole meaning personality wise then your just ugly but some of them are probably hurting inside about something but even to them show kinds and love maybe it can rub off on them.
