No coincidence how its popularity really took off in the sense people think Meltzer is an expert and the Observer is the gospel by 2008 on. The prior 30 years only a small faction of people were interested in it. But by 2008 on, many fans grew up with the Observer in stores, on stands, online and are more prone to thinking it’s a credible news outlet/critiques by a person in the pro wrestling industry rather than just some man/fans opinion on wrestling.
