Hi Aemon, I ordered it since August. Darkwolf rocked my childhood with an ax in the sides of Nekron's dogs! I've been waiting for this figure for decades. At first, I was a little surprised by the gauntlets, but I understand the choice was made in relation to the film poster. Tygra looks awesome! Disagree on the no double jointed knees. They don't break up the sculpt that much more from the front. Glad everything comes off. I can switch to a more articulated body. Still really really looking forward to this. Ordered 2. One to keep as is and one to switch bodies. Great work on the sculpt! Also love your masterverse art!

Looks terrific. I love the more natural movement of the shoulders. Great substitute for bicep swivels. I kind of wish he had double-jointed knees, but there’s always the sculpt break-up trade-off. Great overview video. I ordered mine the day it became available for pre-order. I can't wait to add him to the shelf. I'm really looking forward to more Frazetta-inspired figures from you folks in the future!

As A Kid In 1989, I member walking into A _.99 Cents Video_ store & grabbing that exact VHS / figure box cover. Other than no double jointed elbows or knees to which is a personal preference of mine because of more dynamic posing ( but I do respect your reasoning behind not having it because of breakage of the sculpt), overall it's a great figure , I will be purchasing this figure and definitely will be doing an unboxing on my channel. I love the headsculpt and swappable jaw face plates along with the details on the body and wash over the belt details, the accessories are nice too any figure with plenty of accessories I'm all in. Thank you for sharing your video it was great and swayed me for purchasing and reviewing.

Congratulations the buck turned out pretty good. The ax from the animation would have been nice, maybe Teegra can come packed with it since she didn't have many accessories. For female action figures I want it all, thigh swivel, ab crunch, double jointed knees and elbows, a head that can look both up and down who balances and stands well when posed. Because frankly female figures always suffer from lacking these things in almost every line. I'm sure the sculpt will satisfy the male gaze but the articulation has to satisfy us articulation snobs. Thanks so much, Frazetta was the greatest. ✌️🤘

Neca predators have mastered the art of beautiful looking double jointed elbows and knees.

NECA have a waaaay bigger budget than we do. Predators have textured skin and armor making the cuts less obvious. I also don’t like double jointed knees on small naked human flesh figures.

Great video. I pre-ordered this on BBTS. There is always a choice between articulation and sculpt. If this is a statue, sculpt comes first. If this is an action figure, articulation comes first. I'm still going to get this figure, but I'm going to miss double-jointed knees and elbows. I like to pose my figures dynamicly, and this is a dynamic character. Companies like Mafex and S.H Figuarts have extreme articulation without their sculpts suffering. IMO, a premium price should bring premium articulation.

We feel there is a balance to be made especially on naked flesh figures who do not have armour or gear to hide the cuts. We are also a very small and new company and therefore do not have anywhere near the budget or facilites of Mafex and SH Figure Arts. Hot Toys to name one are a premium price and do not have premium articulation. eg. JL Aquaman.

It looks really great and it's great to hear you're reasoning on articulaltion vs sculpt. Collectors are familiar with this argument from Super7, but also that it is a bit of a false dichotomy -- 2 handed axe holds (looks like he can do that), adults wanting to do dynamic and subtle posing like they attended a few life drawing classes is kind of normal these days! So I hope that stance doesn't backfire for this line, especially when the female figs come out and the elbows are limited 😬 there are ways to make a single knee go past 90, or a double knee avoid looking like a banana -- great for crouching and lunging. I didn't see how the ankle rockers are, but no doubt it's beautiful. The Super7 lane is limited in my view but I'm interested in this figure for sure!
