The best way to play around that icarus with the shura at 23:50 is to econ tribute the fader target the shura, because you tribute for cost he can't target his own cards for icarus, then you put him back one turn with raiza or he's top decking in general

It is a condition, not a cost. It says you can't have a battle phase the turn you ACTIVATE this card, big plant lady negates activations, hence you have not activated the card and can use the battle phase

As someone who played with prio, and post prio, I have to say, as much as I like priority in old yugioh because of nostalgia, it was a good move to get rid of it. that shit makes no sense. like the ability to normal sub+prio; tribute; chain TT to make multiple dupes miss timing is nasty af. Clearly the same people who made the anime rules also made prio, cause none of that shit makes any amount of sense.
