How does your vision code not arc your robot into the target?

I noticed that you guys are using a limelight, and your alignment looks amazing. I'm super curious about how you are implementing the vision, are you generating a path? (Team 7407)

No, we don't. We find the error in the "horizontal angle" between the robot and the target and use it to correct the steering.

The driver controls the forward and backward motion while the camera controls the steering

Wow, excellent job! Looks like you do not use pneumatics. What kind of a motor makes your hatch system move?

Just about every single motor is a 775pro, hatch mechanism included. All in all there are 15 775pros and 1 bag motor, and as you said - no pneumatics.

A 775pro motors which drives a lead screw that moves the system Pretty complicated but we wanted controlability+didn't want the extra weight generated by using pneumatics

Nice climber! We tried (yes, tried) pistons (and failed). How did you get the automated lifter to work? It's really efficient and we tried implementing something like that using a distance sensor, but it didn't work. -Team 4681 Programmer
