I can’t wait to see the full breakdown for the Sled Tred. I think having the Nordic GHD, Sled Tred, and the prx system would be the perfect gym for a smaller space. You have no idea how bad I want to get my Sled Tred 😂
@ShreddedDad7 ай бұрын
Yeah can do a lot with those 3 products. When does the SledTred ship?

Great detailed review and it was nice that you showed how to switch between exercises. I can’t believe the ingenuity they had when making this machine. The magnetic kickstand for the lower degrees for Nordic just shows they really took their time and thought it out the details.

Do you know what the functional reasoning for making the taller/bigger rubber feet for the machine is?
@ShreddedDad7 ай бұрын
To improve stability
@REPPINDB7 ай бұрын
Ah okay, because the one controlling their Instagram couldn't answer this. But does it improve stability, raising the frame from the ground? Well, I hope so. Because I sold the v1 and bought the v2 :)@@ShreddedDad
@ShreddedDad7 ай бұрын
Feels very stable to me. Just make sure you assemble the frame tightly and turn the adjustment knobs all the way to the right

Which do you prefer for hypers?
@ShreddedDad4 ай бұрын
@THEREALTWISTEDINSANE I like having the option to do 45° and 90° hypers so Freak’s wins that one for me. Both works great at 45° though

For reverse hypers on this model I put a pulley on the band hook and attached it to my functional trainer stack. Real smooth and the cable and pulley is like $30 on Amazon. Really like it.
@ShreddedDad7 ай бұрын
That’s a cool idea. May have to try that out. I have plenty of pulleys and cable machines.

I purchased one last week and mine is stuck in half way open I have lossened everything green and blue and every other color knobs and the damn thing will not fold or extend. Any ideas, should I use a hammer. I throw away the box otherwise I would return it
@ShreddedDad7 ай бұрын
Don’t use a hammer. Let me see what Freak Athlete suggests and I’ll get back to you.
@fereydountaslimi41307 ай бұрын
Ok I am not a patient person. I hit the other side of the knobs with hammer , hearda click and now eveyrthing seems to move. I found the instruction video extremely badly done. the pcitures are out of proportions, too quick, the different exercise videos should start with how to put them in the required postion. One question in the assemble video there was a velcro strap but I did not find any, did they eliminate it?@@ShreddedDad
@ShreddedDad7 ай бұрын
The velcro strap comes with the GHD pad

Great review! Except that they actually tell you the rear peg is ONLY for standing up, not for weight.
@ShreddedDad7 ай бұрын
From what I’ve done, I haven’t had to use it to counterweight but it’s there
@jeremypresutti7 ай бұрын
@@ShreddedDad yeah I know it's there, just that all the videos by Freak Athlete they very bluntly say not to. Not sure if there's stability issues or what. I haven't put weight on it only on the lower horns.
@freakathleteco7 ай бұрын
@@jeremypresutti We made a few small changes to the Nordic Hypers which shipped out starting in February, including the one reviewed here. One of these was reinforcing the main frame so that weight plates are not needed for counterweight on the back. We are going to change the shape so it can't load weight in the future. Some customers would load weight here in GHD Sit-Ups instead of the front which is a safety concern for example. Hope that helps! -Benji (Founder)
@jeremypresutti7 ай бұрын
@@freakathleteco yep I caught that on your videos and have made sure NOT to load plates on it. Love the thing tho btw
@dylano72426 ай бұрын
Still way too expensive. Its just a hyper bench, nordic and cost $700. A nordic mini bench be had $200, a hyper $100-200.
