I could see someone riding a motorcycle or bike during winter using the Chubby Buttons over their jacket sleeve. Much easier to use if you're wearing a helmet because the helmet blocks your hands reaching the controls or trying to mess with your phone while in transit. You could also probably attach the Chubby Buttons to your steering wheel if you don't have control buttons on it like a lot of recent models do to control phones, radios, or consoles. $80 is a steep price, but it might be worth it for your safety--and your life!

I have one it’s nice, but the included strap doesn’t get very small. So unless what you’re trying to attach it to is at least the size of a forearm it won’t work. And the price is too high. I rigged attached mine to my electric scooter and the extra big buttons are handy. But no backlight is another negative.

lol, that umbrella may actually come in handy in Vegas. I remember having a hard time seeing my phone screen out there walking outside during the day in the summer sun haha. Also it was the only place my phone started to overheat outside. Seems dumb, but you may actually get a use for it lol

I previously bought a nearly identical phone umbrella at Five Below for my partner to use when grilling outside in the summer, to keep the sun glare off his phone so he can use it while monitoring the grill. It's silly, but it works! Allows you to see your phone screen in direct sunlight. Bonus was that it came with a basic plastic case for storage.

I could see the phone umbrella for very specific situations. I've been on a beach chair trying to read a book on my phone or check a video and pulled the blanket over my head to cut glare. This would be a bit more discreet, LOL-- but only if I"m situation for the 'long haul' read/view. Deflecting heat would be secondary.

That flash defuser is more used as a camping lantern. I have one that i use a lot on my camping trips. Its a different model, but works the same. So it isn't a bad product if you use it the right way 😁.

If you have no info on that umbrella, then let me ask you this question.... are you sure it's for rain cuz it has the underside coating of one of those light reflecting umbrellas for like diffusing light when you're taking photos and stuff like when you're getting professional pictures taken. Chubby buttons is a good idea but should have been rechargeable. I have plenty of 2032’s for my car remote but it’s annoying to change them all the time. Having to tap other things twice to first wake it up kinda gets on my nerves, wouldn’t want more devices that do it too.

Depends on how often you need to change the batteries for it. If it lasts 6 months each battery then who cares. With a rechargeable battery the product is guaranteed to eventually fail, so its a tradeoff.

Thing is you can get like a smartwatch for like under 20 bucks these days that does the same thing, and is a smartwatch, much smaller, and much more multifunctional. Just look for a smartwatch that offers media control functionality via an inbuiltapp, or if it's an android wear (these are however more expensive) they can access a huge variety of apps that can control all sorts of things. Alternatively if you want physical buttons most bluetooth headsets these days (which can be had for like under 5 bucks some places) have this functionality too, increase volume, forward back, play pause. If you don't want to actually listen to the headset just use the media output setting on your android phone (I don't know about iPhone) to have it play through the speakers instead.

What the “flash diffuser” did show was how many of those camera apertures are actually used in taking a photo. You got a decent exposure even though 2 apertures looked completely blocked.

I have those screen cleaners. I got a 2 pack from a dollar store & it included one like what you showed & another smaller one (about half the size) that is on a keychain, which is a pretty useful way of carrying it around. They work great. I've had them for several years now.

The lamp attachment may not be useful usually, but being without power or even spare batteries currently, it would actually be quite useful and it would just depend on if the LED gets too hot or not... I've had phones that can have it on for hours without issue and others it would get too hot to hold or even shut off the light itself because it knew it was getting hot. And if you just need something so you're not in absolute darkness, like myself living with an extremely violent and dangerous roommate, it could be an actual lifesaver and waaaaay more useful than many might consider. Especially if it's relatively cheap. Sure, there are other things that would do the same, but again, when you're limited, it might be the bestest thing ever and actually give you piece of mind... And that's priceless. Great video! 😊🌎❤️🕺🏻 Omg! That button thing! That is exactly something I would use with my home setup... I could link to the PC or phone and control my videos while doing stuff and not need my phone right on me while cleaning or whatever and still control the volume and media functions.... Absolutely perfect! I get tired of wearing a little remote control on a lanyard around my neck... It's a cheap $6 remote that I usually have to take apart and dry off every few days because I'll accidentally dunk it in water but it's held up almost 2 years so far and my favorite baby remote ever, hands down.

@@jtm71 no choice in the matter and police have been here multiple, multiple times either because of my concern over my own safety or whenever he would abuse his gf I'd call them, but never did anything. Usually wouldn't even have her come out of a closed room to talk to separate from him and just leave, but would have no problem making me seem like scum if I had music on and roommate would call them saying I was disturbing the neighborhood. It's what happens when they're also an absolute drug addict and his boss would gang up against me and side with him knowing exactly what is going on. Take a tiny milk carton (uht type that are too small for an actual portion) and an elastic band. Empty milk out first. Make two small slots in rim of carton, hook elastic band into same, wrap round your phone. Now you have a flashlight diffuser for free that won’t cover your camera lens so much. Or cut a piece of silicon/parchment paper/tissue paper.

The Chubby Button seems way too expensive for what it does, particularly considering it'd only really have niche uses for when you're wearing gloves or maybe to function as a remote trigger for your camera. Especially since if you're using it for music or video watching while out in public, a lot of wireless headphones, (other than the earbud only ones), have built in buttons for controlling volume, skipping, and pausing media. I think it does have some uses, but more as a $20 gimmick product.

That tiny phone umbrella was widely used in Malaysia food delivery bikes. They come secured with bike phone holders which is useful in Malaysia's blazing hot bright sun.
