John Muller No, 5th Avenue, because Triton College is located on 5th Avenue a few blocks south of where 5th Avenue and River Road merge or break off, depending on the direction that you're heading. After the split, River Road continues a little bit southeast and terminates at 1st Ave aka Cumberland Ave.

You're probably right, since they changed so many things since i lived on the corner of Palmer & Elm st. I remember when I use to watch movies for free by walking in the Drive in Movies is where there football field is at now. lol It's River Rd untill you get to melrose park & then it turns into 5th av. from north av it's 5th untill you go about 3 blocks & then it turns into River Rd in River Grove.
