What's even better and more impressive(at least for me ...well 2007 or 2008 me) is how humble and approachable Thomas Lang was when I met him at his Drum clinic in Daytona Beach Florida at Total Entertainment. Thomas was just as one might assume... a total BADASS! He answered every question I threw at him, let me sit at the kit when he finished playing, signed my poster, Remo controlled sound black dot floor Tom head AND GAVE ME A PAIR OF HIS DRUMSTICKS, which I still have and use them to practice while I'm driving and only then, since there's no possibility of degrading the stick the way playing conventional drums and cymbals . It's pretty cool to see him giving lessons to Fred. Btw.. I loved watching portlandia.. pretty funny show.. seeing this makes more stuff make sense now.. Thanks Thomas for being such a huge inspiration to me and my playing for all these years, even if I'm mediocre..
