Excellent. Grew up there in the 50’s and 60’s. Went to Pierrepont School, which housed grades 1-6 then. You passed on Lincoln Avenue one of three houses we lived in. Also went to the Jr high and HS there. Played trumpet and participated in summer band concerts in Lincoln Park. I remember well most of the streets, having bicycled everywhere for years. Had you continued down Orient Way, you’d have passed our two other houses.

Thank you! My house is visible on the left at 1:25 and also at 5:31. Pierpont School used to be only the buildings in the very front (clearly older architecture). The area in the back was the playground. I actually got expelled from that school, briefly, when I was in kindergarten because the teacher was angry that I already knew how to read and was asking for books because I was bored. I never did become a nice, compliant, little conformist and I was back in school the next day after my parents had ripped the principal a proverbial new one. I love those big, old houses and used to walk streets like those in my mind when I couldn't get to sleep at night when I was in high school. I bookmarked this video so I can come back and watch it as often as I like. BTW, the worst drivers - of either sex- are the ones with the entitled attitudes who think that they own the roads.

I don’t like most of Bergen County because it is boring but I love Rutherford every St Patrick’s Day I go to a pub there. The town is cute it’s very similar to where I grew up in Montclair. Same style homes lots of trees and a local vibrant downtown.
