Thank you for bringing me home. Going up Carlisle you passed Our Lady of Pompeii Church on left opposite School No. 7, my grammar school with great teachers. Going up the hill my house was on the left with the dark fence - Rockland, Carlisle and Barns St. Barns had the Morris Canal on it. My bother broke his arm bike riding down that hill. It was THE bike and sled hill.I walked up and down that hill 4 times a day. Home for lunch. The stone building might have been there since the Morris Canal. We should find out. On xorner of Murray Ave an d Rockland was Ralph Nakash's butcher and grocery store. My bother delivered groceries for him for a while when he was a kid. further on was Minardi's Bakery - the best BREAD! My family is Cannizzaro across from St. Michael's Church, and later my Uncle Joe had Sun Ray Pizza. I CAN TELL YOU SO MUCH! Thank you, grazie!

1977 graduate from school #7 I remember like it was yesterday I remember sliding down the staircase in front and also when it used to flood in the playground. I got married in the church across the street Our Lady of Pompei by Father Martin. I grew up on Murray ave and still have relatives living there. Was a great neighbor to grow up in. As you went up Murray Avenue there was a bar called Stony Road Inn not sure if that is still there but that place holds lots of memories. Thank you for the trip down memory lane. It’s great to see the place. #piscitellifamily

One of the best kept Secret in Paterson for years. It was a sort of isolated area that was well kept and beautiful and had a nice feel to the Neighborhood. I lived there shortly during 1991..93.Very peaceful area,,but you had to watch the street signs because the One Ways were tricky 😉

There used to be so much work in the Mills in Downtown Paterson that people that lived outside the city would take boats to work and the bolts would go up and down the canal.

Hi Freddy, Would you be interested on doing another walkthrough with no commentary video? This time at the Bergen Town Center on Rte 4 in Paramus, NJ. Here's some fun history to be amazed Freddy. Back when it was the Bergen Mall, President John F. Kennedy campaigned there for the Presidential election in 1960. A few years later, Lyndon B Johnson did the same as well in 1964 during his campaigning across the country. Amazing how two of our Presidents were here in Bergen county and how the location helped both men became leaders of our country. Anthony..

I think you found the "Chorus" of your song. This would follow in between the story of your song, and could be at the end too as well - Good Job! I love it.
@PrideInPaterson2 жыл бұрын
Lol. I felt I might be irritating people with the constant repetition of it 😂
@OceanSound1002 жыл бұрын
@@PrideInPaterson No, you must have a chorus to any "story song" Finding the chorus can help write the rest of the song. It helps to know the title and the chorus to begin writing. All you got to do now is write around it and sing with your discovered rhythm and story. I feel a somewhat country vibe and a personal story growing up in Paterson on Stoney Road. In Jim Croce's song "I got a name," you can get ideas from him.

NO, the song did not get stuck in my head. Besides, I have a way of dealing with that sort of thing. I think of another song that either has the same rhythm, is in the same key, has a similar meaning, etc. and override the one that's stuck. I loved those faces, though.
