Fred Durst may be one of the funniest people of all time, and I'm saying that as someone who has cringed at him for over 2 decades. This is amazing stuff. He brilliantly rehabilitated his reputation. A lot of washed up celebrities are ok with being the butt of the joke, but that's too easy. Fred isn't about to be the butt. You're going to laugh with him, not at him, and that's a really smart way to craft his legacy. You can almost hear the conversation with his manager. "If they think you're a joke, become a comedian". And it's like he studied comedy for 15 years and this is what he came up with, and it kicks ass.
