My coupons from my Fred Meyer rewards were getting ready to expire, so we finally got some money together for shopping. We couldn't pass up the deals. Then we forgot something so took a peek around Safeway and ended up with and unboxing from a friend!!! Woohoo!

I looked all over for sock like that before Christmas. I got lots of amazing fuzzy socks for Christmas from other people but they were all short! Why make really nice warm fuzzy socks that only cover your feet and not your ankles or calves? I should go back and get more pj's though 😉 Hugs to you too 🤗

Hi Bears. Love watching hauls. You did good! Nice to see everybody today 💜. Always, when you go out, situational awareness. Hubby stopped at the grocery last week and just got a few items on his way home from work. Don't know when the car appeared but he noticed he was being followed. Stopped at a light and the car got on his side and then when the light changed, it got behind him. The occupants were acting strange and hubby got a really bad feeling. Always important to trust those feelings. He pulled into a church parking lot (surprisingly it was actually busy on a Monday afternoon - must have had some sort of activity) so the car did not follow him in there. Close call. South Africa is a favorite place of mine. I visited friends in a town called Commondale which is between Pretoria and Swaziland. They drove us all around the Garden Route and back. That was the best trip of my lifetime!

The store reminds me of the large mercados I shopped in Colombia. You can buy EVERYTHING under one roof. They also have a built in shopping savers plan on points per purchase. Stay warm . I can't wait for Spring

All my shopping gets delivered to my door by Tesco, so I have absolutely no idea how much things are in other shops, but I can say my shopping bills have shot up. Your presents are lovely. I think some times we are the last stop, when they can't sell clearance at other stores past the season they send it up here, I don't mind we get the deals on the clothes, they are still in season here. Hugs to you too 🥰🤗

We can record the at home tests on our government’s app. My sisters didn’t know what a vhs machine was as she was playing with it. I was glad it wasn’t plugged in as we hadn’t used it for years but hadn’t got rid of it!!! We don’t get oat milk even though we grab non dairy milk. My sister found a chocolate flavoured toothpaste and she loved it and we found it was a good toothpaste. Dr Pepper is Cherry flavoured!!! Our savings come at the bottom however they do it. At one shop we have personal prices with our loyalty card. We love the ethnic isles in the supermarket as we love curry. We had light up cups in Disney!!! We’ve still got them.

We don't really have any way to record most of these home tests. The one we did have looked like it had a link, but the link didn't work. We lost the taste for coconut milk, Mary still uses almond milk, but Heather can't have nuts. Chocolate toothpaste, what!?! haha... I get after the kids when I see that Cherry Dr. Pepper, that Dr. Pepper is Cherry already, We have had the Cherry Dr. Pepper, too much cherry. Our Safeway does track your shopping habits and I get a lot of really good deals on the rewards program, light up Disney cups sound awesome!

Enjoyed watching your trip to Fred Meyers. My husband worked for Kroger for 41 years. Our local stores are big but aren't the market place ones that have everything. There is one about 45 minutes away but haven't been to that one in years.

I agree with you Mary I do the same! Pay attention to your surroundings! I am more of a Fred Meyer person. I rarely go to Safeway. I coupon and I get discounts of Fred's.

Came across your videos while planning a winter Fairbanks trip for next week. Hadn't known about the Great Alaskan Bowl Company until I saw one of your videos where you were in their store.. Will definitely check it out and bring some bowls back home here in Mission Viejo CA. Will be going to Chena Hot Springs, snow machine and dog sledding tours, Artic Circle tour and of course the Ice Carving Championship. Really your videos!

Yes, Fred Meyer is like a Super Walmart. Walmart was going to put another store on the opposite side of town and turned the one they had into a super Walmart instead. The two are pretty competitive.

I really like your videos, especially when you drive around, it brings back a lot of memories from when I grew up there. When I lived there we didn’t have all the big box stores, we just had Fred Meyer, Safeway, Market Basket and Pay & Save. Was Fred Meyer worried when Walmart (and the other big box stores) moved into town? Although, your Walmart vs. Fred Meyer is like our Walmart vs. Target here, so I guess its not that much difference. The 2 Fred Meyer stores here are always competing for top sales of all the Fred Meyer stores, so I don't think they are worried about Walmart. There is enough military and villages to support them all. Thanks for hanging out with us 💖

Good question! We have heating pads on the engine, battery and transmission, if the car is going to be outside for very long you plug it in and all the pads keep the fluids warm. I have always used coupons, I wish I be like some of those ladies that know how to coupon everything for free 😍 The Christmas gifts were very unexpected, it was really a nice surprise.

Then came the train whistle.....me thinking, oh show us the train, it sounds so close - and up went to camera for us to see the train going by. It felt like we were right there with you guys. We have had no cream cheese here in California...also Crisco shortening for making cookies is only available in the 1 cup "cubes" or the very smallest size of canister. Not sure why it has been so hard to find the larger sizes...guess no homemade cookies for us.☹️. Selections of many things are getting smaller and smaller. Finding pj's and slippers are hard to find after Christmas so the fact that you found some on clearance is phenomenal!

Hi girls 😊nice video today! Good job with those coupons. Surprised that you got so much cream cheese. Here in the Boston area it is so hard to get it in any form. Even a generic brand. We have a local area grocery that sells its own brand and I usually have luck there. It's still sometimes difficult to get the items I need . I love the socks and the pj's you got. Oh, by the way in your previous video you girls got your hair done. I really like the highlights in Heather's hair and Mary's with the red lowlights is awesome. It suits her coloring so well. I think dairy anywhere is getting hard to come by. The prices have gone way up, I could usually get the cream cheese, 3 for $5, lately it has been $1.99, so to see it that high was a little bit of a shock. At my age I am all about warm and comfy, haha. Thank You and thanks I think Mary's hair turned out really nice.

What about them? I am afraid to talk to anyone right now, my finances have been awful with all of the time off work and trying to catch up after covid. Although, it will be a refi on my mortgage. I also need to look into city grants because if you are adding an apartment, it looks like the city can help 🤔🤞

We don't have one close to us. The closest one is 100 miles away. I have been in them, they carry the Kirkland brands but much more expensive. Other things look cheaper. I was going to investigate more this summer 😉

We can get up to $1.00 off 35 gallons at Fred's with rewards, we try to buy gift cards to get the 4X rewards or more. Then we take gas cans to make sure we get the whole 35 gallons, otherwise Costco has the best prices in town.

Our Costco used to be a Sam's club. Costco wanted to build, butt hey were in a rush, they took a HUGE hit making renovations and they don't own the building! We also have a Walmart but I don't shop there as much as I should.
