The transition from Unwavering Emotion to Route 209 always gets me, especially with the way the piano part of 209 just sort of creeps in, plus the National Park it follows on from, and then it's hit after hit after hit with Route 1, Hoenn Elite 4, the main theme, Alola Champion, and the quintessential Pokémedley finisher. Yep. I often don’t carry any “magic types”(psychic,dark,ghost and now fairy) on my teams for whatever reason, and in Unova I didn’t either, and seeing as the elite four was all magic (3/4) and their main weakness was other Magic’s, it was real tough for my team

I got so excited when it played the champion battle theme from gen 7 at the end. Those games were what I started with in Pokémon, so they definitely hold a special place in my heart. Sadly the farthest back I’ve played in XY and ORAS, but if I can ever find one I’m going to try and get my hands on a copy of Black or White. Haven’t decided which yet.
