Join me in this, the final video after taking on the challenge to fix @FreddieDobbs Triumph Bonneville T100SE. This motorcycle is the central focal point of his channel and has been right there with him on many adventures from all over Europe to the Sahara, across the Atlas Mountains to the local coffee shop!
In this video we complete a 120mile shake down run of the Bonneville! Given we had the bike, the weather and the need for a ride. Here's our not so smooth attempt at living the Freddie Dobbs lifestyle.

This project showed us many things. Firstly that there are couples who not only get along with each other but have a laugh with each other while doing so. Then it showed us that that there is more to life than just buying things. Thirdly, keeping what we already have going helps the planet enormously. Keeping bikes going means we don’t have to wreck the planet making new things. Fifth, we don’t end up poorer as a result for looking after what we already have. I could witter on for ages but you guys have done a marvellous job. I hope you’re really proud of what you have done.

Love this. Freddie took a lot of stick over the state of his bonneville, he is no mechanic and openly admits it, but you have just highlighted the skill and artistry required to make a first-class KZbin video and following your video ‘train crash’ have restored Freddie some kudos. 😊

The only thing I'd change would be the exhaust wrapping. But I seem to remember you saying they came wrapped, so possibly the chrome underneath wasn't good enough to leave exposed?

My grandpas cottage had those old world funny locks on his cottage and the back door of his house. The house one I filled in the hole to stop cold air because he had a newer deadbolt. They are funny locks. I liked this format because it was nice to see your partner. I love that in several videos when she points her finger she moves her entire hand like says "look look look"
