In this video we crack on with the next project to get "The Wurks" treatment. This time round we have a Royal Enfield 350 Bullet that 20 years ago completed the Enduro India. It has been stood for a number of years and in need of quite a bit of attention.
In this video we chance our luck and see if there is life in the Enfield before beginning the teardown.

First kick after 20 years is impressive. Enfield India I found on a Google search changed from British Imperial to metric in 1974. I looked that up in case it was an older bike with Imperial fittings.

Tripmachine does leather cable wraps for just that purpose. I got a pair with the matching grip wraps and put them on my Bullet to replace the rubber ones. They're great and look really good on camera. One good thing is the 3M tape that holds them in place, whereas the stock ones fall down and bunch up around the bend in the handlebars and look terrible. A bit of hard wax makes them fairly waterproof too. Us Bullet owners are especizlly enjoying this series.

Great stuff. The frame on this bike is pretty much identical to my late version '21 plate Classic 500. Oh and I also have an MG. Mine is a TF. Not as desirable as the B by a long way but in '160' form, a fantastic little sports car 🙂

I've got the usual collection, one bike that works - a Triumph Scrambler and two that don't, both 125s a Derbi Terra Adventure and something Chinese I bought to attack with an angle grinder and make into a custom despite having hardly any more mechanical knowledge than a certain Mr Dobbs. And I'm loving this new series, I may have come because of the Bonnie, but you've both got me hooked. He's still got that horrid seat, hasn't he?

@AlexOnABoat I absolutely love that description, one that works and two that don't 😄 it is how it goes. I have every faith you can build a custom bike. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. He has got that seat and it is very ugly, however, for distance riding it is comfortable I can't lie. His other seat lost by Evry that I was hoping would be on for the DGR has now been recovered by Evri so that's something. I still think he will stick with the King and Queen seat though. He came round yesterday for Joe to change his exhaust back to standard he finds the Torrs too loud.

@biker_dan I am not sure on some of those technical items, I'll ask Joe to get back to you. I know we are making some changes so that Joe's friend can ride it with confidence of not causing damage to original parts that have sentimental value to his wife. I know Joe said the top of the engine will have some changes similar to work we did on Freddies (I hope he isn't expecting me to remember that far back!). Brilliant Music 🎶 I'm attempting to replace the baffle back into a two into one arrows exchaust in my 2011 triumph bonneville 865 which l bought at the weekend after my beautiful Honda cb500s was stolen. The original owner tried to fit it back in but couldn't remove the end cone which has 6 tiny screws holding it on, so he just give the baffle to me and l said I'd try. So going to try tomorrow, any tips for removing it Joe , loads of WD 40 . I don't want to scratch the stainless steel exchaust.

There is a company in :Vancouver that imports those models completely refurbished like new but pricey for an older model that does not have great reliability like their new models.
