My dad Dave Briggs on guitar there! Freddie was a real character. One childhood memory is of his crash helmet on our kitchen floor, the one he used to set fire to!

I only met him once, but I really really liked him. my dad used to know him from his time with screamin´ lord sutch when they were playing in hamburg. once they went to a bar, he took his glass eye out, let it roll to the feet of the waitress and said: "well, I just wanted to know what you wear under your skirt" :D
