I'm a diehard Yankee fan, but that was one helluva game and if we had to lose in such a dramatic fashion, I'm glad Freedman emerged as the hero. Between what he had to deal with this season with his son's health and his tenacity in overcoming his ankle injury, he more than deserves the honor. But we'll get LA tonight.

Graterol hadn't pitched in over a month due to injury. His first time pitching was in game #1. In the top of the 7th with the Yankees winning 2-1, Graterol got a groundout from Torres, got Soto to pop out, gave up a two-out single to Judge and then struck out Stanton. Ran the guantlet. Don't cry Nestor hadn't pitched in a month...Dodgers had to make due, too.

I have no hate towards the Yankees, even though it’s east west coast in a classic bums vs yanks match up. I feel more inclined to offer gratitude to the Yankees for giving us a competitive World Series, make it fun and just making great nail biting memories. Win or lose I’m thankful we have to face the Yankees.

We will see, I don’t think these teams are as evenly match as the media pundits want us to believe. The dodgers have tasted defeat a few years in a row and are out for blood! The Yankees don’t have the level of experience in these moments that the dodgers do. Missing the playoffs is not the same as getting swept or losing a playoff series. It stings way more in the playoffs and I think that’s what is driving this dodger team!
