When I was 19 years old, I met this girl named Maegan, I met her off tinder. I turned 25 this past week. She was super wealthy, and she would take me out in the city to all these interesting areas. I wasnt very mature at the time. I was pretty ungrateful and selfish. I remember she booked this hotel by times square for us for the weekend. We both loved the Zelda Franchise, and so she surprised me that night with a gamecube and zelda OOT. We played it in the hotel. The whole time I was pretty sour though. I truly wasnt interested in her at the time, and I just kept her around to have wild experiences being with somebody who had money. Looking back, she was incredibly thoughtful and I remember just being a complete self centered piece of garbage. This song came on during that night hanging out with her in the hotel. I'll never forget how amazing this sound is, and how much of a treasure this song is. Incredibly hidden. I remember looking all over for this song afterward. And tied with this incredible sound, low feeling, song about freddie gibbs being completely self centered toward women, is this moment where I self reflect on how shitty I used to be as a person. Like a complete reflection of who I used to be. A feeling of nostalgia too. Not sure where I'm heading with this. This song is incredible because I think it keeps me in check with myself. I wish I took more time to appreciate others back then. I'm incredibly sorry for hurting the people I've hurt in my life. I'm sorry Maegan, even though a lot of time has passed. I hope you are well. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hi everybody, I love to come back here every now and then and check on this comment. It's really cool to see that so many people replying. I want to share more of the story with you all... It's interesting. Funny enough, about a month ago, while I was scrolling through my old messages on Facebook , I saw her on there. I felt excited and also nervous. I decided to shoot her some voice messages, just saying that I had regrets on how I treated her, what I've been up to, and asking her if she'd like to chat. Not long after that she gave me a shout, and we talked on the phone for about an hour. Just talking about a lot about those times. There was a lot that I didn't know about her. She told me a lot about who she was at that time... she told me a lot of traumatic things during that time... and she told me that I had very little impact on her state at that time. It was nice to hear that I didnt have that much of an impact. She told me that she was an alcholic at the time, and she was only 18. When I knew her, I only had a small peak in her weird and dreamy world at the time that I knew her... I dont have a great way to explain it. The luxurious lifestyle she had seemed almost like how greek gods would live... abundent, dramatic, and everything overexaggerated... maybe because things get boring when you're that wealthy... however, there was certainly a dark side that I could sense beyond the surface. I remember during the times I was in the city with her, she would hide alcohol. I remember mentioning to her that I think that she might need help. She brushed it off. There were times where she'd be out of the state, with i dont even know who. One day she'd be in the city, next she was in some fancy car upstate, and the next in california doing drugs. The day I cut things off is when she went there. I was trying to study for my college finals and was distracted by her behavior. When we reconnected just last month, she told me that she barely remembers the times we hungout. She told me she was sleeping with older men, much older. Doing drugs with older men. I dont think it wouldve ever bothered me that she was seeing other people at the time, because I never really wanted to be with her... I was just going for the ride that life was taking me on. It pained me to know that she had all these traumatic experiences... she was telling me them all. She would get high off hardcore drugs with the owner of the restaurant she used to take me to. The owner was like 40-50 years old. She was 18. And they'd have sex. I asked her everything, not to be nosey... but to learn from another soul. She was happy to share everything. I found it very strong of her to be so willing to tell. It was her story after all. Fast forward some years from those days that I knew her, she finally got help for the addictive behavior through AA . She got clean... has been over a year of being clean now. It was inspiring... and actually gave me guidance on the things I've been having trouble in my life too. I had been a sex & love addict, and hearing her story made me get help. Felt a lot of pain confronting all those things that I feel aligned I felt I aligned with this song. I caused a lot of pain to others. And that still hurts so much. After my interaction with Maegan, I shortly found myself in a relationship. I had a girlfriend of 4 years, that now that I'm away from it, I was never sure if I felt in-love with her. But I always had loved her, she was my best friend... feels like she still is. She was the first to show me unconditional love in my life, including from those in my family. But I was unable to give it back. Maybe because of my past, or maybe because I never fully felt in love. She deserved so much better than me. I always wanted to feel in-love with her, but I never did. And I thought in time I would. But I found myself always wanting more. I was always flirting on the side. Hurts me so bad to think of what I did. I cheated on her too. It was the worst experience of my entire life. I never felt so removed from myself. Lower than human. Lower than an animal. I felt like I was existing in hell on earth. Just a demon mindlessly fucking. After it, I just pretended like it was nothing. She suspected nothing. God that hurts. I was away from home for 2 years working overseas and she was waiting for me the whole time. When I finally got home, and visited her, the universe intervened, and a series of events lead to me having to confess to her on my wrongs. The amount of pain I feel, knowing how much pain she was in. God if I could only go back in time and make those things right. I'd do anything. My soul now knows though. The way life has been unfolding, to me is all about purifying yourself. I am not religious, but I am spiritual and believe deeply that we all have souls. I'm here to learn. To love. Not to damage. And for all the pain I've caused others, I'm beyond sorry. I'm forever unfolding and getting better and better each day. There is no good, no bad... only teachers in this world. My experience with Maegan was a teaching moment... my relationship with my Ex was another. I'm so grateful for all of them because I feel complete in purifying myself. I'm happy by myself, life is a journey... and it's a lot more exciting and happy to treat it like a story. Maegan and I were able to reconnect, heal, and once again departed on our separate paths, to never talk again. I haven't spoken to my ex for a while. But every memory is loving. Love is the answer to pain. Please and always self reflect, question your life choices. Why did you do this? Where in my past is this coming from? How can I be better? What can I do to make things right? Life is beautiful when you heal. But it first starts from within. Love you all!

It's been time since I last heard this song, it was back in 2018 when I was still in college and was feeling a bit out of vibe, this popped up in my recommended and listened to it in repeat till I fell asleep, my phone ran out of battery and yeah, at the next day I charged it and couldn't find the song so I felt a little void... Yeh (my watch history was paused, don't ask) Now, 2 months ago it was back again in my recommendations and i clicked on the video cuz of the thumbnail (Monogatari fan lmao) and realised it was this song that I heard years before, I felt like I was flying when I started listening, I downloaded it and still hearing till this day, the best song ever, I don't understand it but my ears does somehow.
