Freddie Lyon | I found hell [The Hour BBC]

Anybody here who watched The Hour?!
Yeah, I know… I am a little bit late in the team but I found the DVD by accident in my fav store and it sounded so nice.
I bought it, watched it, fell deeply in love, felt my heart breaking into a million of pieces (well, thank you bbc) and cried my eyes out at the last episode of season 2.
This show is amazingly sharp, well written and especially all (!!!) characters are amazing. Bel and Freddie stole my heart and sigh it’s has been so long that a tvseries got me THAT MUCH!
I don’t know if anybody will ever want to watch this little vid. The Hour has been canceled more than a year ago and there are (sadly) so less vids here on youtube. But I had so much feels and I finally found some inspiration to vid.
I just had to. And it felt so good… just to let all these emotions out and to make something out of it.
Vidding is a wonderful thing. Have I ever told you that?
Especially since I’ve started studying at university I had one of these “let’sdoubtyourviddingabilities-times" again.
It just feels like everybody has moved on over here; there are so much new fandoms, so much (amazing) new vidders, the vidding style overall has changed a lot over the last year (in my impression) and it is so difficult to get into it again… my vidding style quite bores me sometimes and I feel like an old-timer… I made this stupid account in 2008 haha
But that’s how I vid. And I think I can’t change it. (I have never been a effect-person for example and newblue effects are not working on my computer anyway…)
Okay, let’s stop rambling.
Point is: I LOVE the Hour
Freddie is a baby and I HATE (love/hate/love) the BBC

yulivee94 Actually I've been swooning over your vids since Violet Hill and Animus Vox (omg time does fly), and in my mind you always were a Merlin vidder, mostly...so imagine my surprise when I see your vid on The Hour, of all the shows lol. (Actually, I've been wondering if you watch some other comparatively "obscure" and more mature series, like, for example, Broadchurch or Masters of Sex...would love to see something from you on those topics. Didn't watch the show but nevertheless I am so THRILLED to see something new from you! This was breathtaking in every aspect, I love the song so much (I'm aching to vid it myself some day) and just wow, your flow is fucking amazing as always. I agree about the vidding community, new talents pop up everywhere it seems and everything changes so fast. But as long as you're comfortable with your style you should never feel like you need to change it just because everyone else does! I myself like to constantly challenge my skills and try out new things, but coming up with something fresh these days is well... hard, to say the least.
