Lyrics: Just look at all those hungry mouths we have to feed Take a look at all the suffering we breed So many lonely faces scattered all around Searching for what they need Is this the world we created? What did we do it for? Is this the world we invaded Against the law? So it seems in the end Is this what we're all living for today? The world that we created You know that every day a helpless child is born Who needs some loving care inside a happy home Somewhere, a wealthy man is sitting on his throne Waiting for life to go by Oh-oh, is this the world we created? We made it on our own Is this the world we devasted, right to the bone? If there's a God in the sky, looking down What can he think of what we've done To the world that He created? We miss you Freddie, fly high!

Danke, Freddie Mercury

The awesome part is he and Brian wrote this song in a matter of minutes; years before any of these benefits took place. Much deserved for them to be able to perform it at and on such a fitting occasion; and now forever.

With all the horrible things going on right now, I turned to this. It never gets old. Brian May said he and Freddie came up with this because that needed a shorter songs on one of their albums. Absolutely beautiful and stunning This shows Freddie's depth. And how he and Brian were such good collaborators.❤️❤️❤️

I live in BOULDER CO and we are devastated by the King Sooper shooting. I can't get this beautiful song out of my head. As true today as it was at Live Aid in 1985. It brings comfort. Thank you Freddie and Brian.

Freddie lives♥️ Just think of all those hungry mouths we have to feed Take a look at all the suffering we breed So many lonely faces scattered all around Searching for what they need Is this the world we created? What did we do it for? Is this the world we invaded Against the law? So it seems in the end Is this what we're all living for today? The world that we created You know that every day a helpless child is born Who needs some loving care inside a happy home Somewhere, a wealthy man is sitting on his throne Waiting for life to go by Oh-oh, is this the world we created? We made it on our own Is this the world we devasted, right to the bone? If there's a God in the sky, looking down What can he think of what we've done To the world that He created?

Thank you Freddie and Brian!!! I absolutely love this song. So fitting today! It looks like Freddie is thinking about children and it's hurting him. He loved children. Godfather to a few, even to Mary Austin's oldest son, and to 2 others. He had a huge generous heart. Rest in heaven sweet Freddie. Thank you for giving us so much with your incredible talent. You are Greatly missed and loved by millions! 💗💗💗

Was lucky enough to have seen this in ‘85 although it was at home in Ireland. Couldn’t believe how good queen where that day. When they came to play Sloane castle in ‘86 I just had to be there and they where still unreal. Broke my heart when Freddie past away but these videos on KZbin are great to remind of a time in my life that Freddie and queen where the “ Kings “ 😁

March 15, 2020 a world drowning in chaos and uncertainty is one that needs to band together. We are separate and that is something that we should take pride in. National identities are a good thing and it makes us who we are... but we are still people. And we need to band together for HUMANITY. Let’s all reflect on the peaceful nature of this. We can get through the toughest times if we try. Pressure creates diamonds.
