I feel like I was born a decade or two late, as all my favourite bands and artists were also my parents' favourites; Queen, Nirvana, Mötley Crüe, David Bowie, Black Sabbath, etc. Freddie passed just 3 months before I was born, but his legacy, his work, will live forever. An incredible man, phenomenally talented, taken much too soon by an awful disease, one that has taken people I've known personally as well. Thanks for this wonderful video, a delight as always.

Queen will always be one of my favourite bands. My late father was in his 20s when Freddie and co. burst onto the music scene here in the UK, back in 1974. He was an instant fan, blown away by Freddie's killer stage presence and powerful voice. To me, Queen and Freddie mean so much because they remind me of my father and the shared love of music we had. Growing up in the 90s, Queen was a constant presence, on cd, on radio, on tv, alongside other British greats like Led Zep, Black Sabbath, The Police, The Beatles, The Kinks and so many more. My father loved providing me with a musical education of the greats ❤ Freddie truly lived his life in the short years he had, and that is a huge inspiration.

Honestly, I could see someone who was a true friend to Freddie removing it after that initial video came out. It wasn't like he was unclear in his wishes. Freddie did not want the fans to know his final resting place. He gave us all he had vocally. To this day he hold audiences in the palm of his hands (saw Queen in Oct & it was magic when he performed. I was too close to the stage to see him BUT by his voice alone, it was purely magical). So while I watched this & the earlier video, I am not proud of myself. Freddie asked for very little in this world. So if he wanted a private resting place, we should honor that IMHO. And I find it quite sad that was intruded upon

Thank you VERY much!!! Freddie Mercury was unique! I went to see his home in 1993/94 for the first when I was a teenager. It looked different back then. Saw many people not respecting the privacy of Mrs. Austin and her family over the years (e.g. climbing up between the wall and lantern), security came, staff became angry and so on. 30 years and many visits later, you two bring back lots of memories for me!! As far as I can recall, Mrs. Austin is the only person who knows, where Freddie's ashes are. He said to her "no one should dig me up" or sth. close to that. I agree. He was probably one of the best entertainers and a private person off stage. This video is highly recommended!!! Thank you so much!!! Kind regards from Germany, Nadine
