Fun Fact: One of the SEVERAL Alternate Endings for this movie was going to be Freddy and Jason being dragged back into Hell, and are about to start fighting again, only to suddenly be bound by chains... And it ends with *_Pinhead_* showing up and saying to them, "What seems to be the problem, gentlemen?" Now you gotta admit, that ending would've been fucking awesome.

More Fun Facts: -- Jason Mews cameos in the DVD audio commentary during the hookah scene, saying, "I remember this part. This is where... wait, a minute! What hell am I doing here? After watching this and the Nostalgia Critic's review of Freddy vs Jason, I have to say I prefer yours Decker. The most obvious reason is because you went through the effort to review both franchises, plus the reboots, and of course how you will reference the previous movies. The Nostalgia Critic pretty much just did the review for his Halloween special and made jokes about the plot holes. Plus the Nostalgia Critics doesn't say "and the body count has started" especially since any movie that has Jason Voorhees killing people, of course there should be a body count being mentioned.

Certainly not a perfect movie. But it delivered on every aspect promised and expected - which is to see Freddy and Jason interact and duke it out against one another. I couldn't ask for more, and I love this movie for that alone. Sure, you could say the same about Batman v Superman... but the problem there is with Superman not being like Superman, and Batman being a crazy wacko murderer and branding criminals.

While I don't hate Kirzinger's performance as Jason, I think it's too robotic and would've worked better for Michael Myers than Jason Voorhees. I also don't like some of the design choices for Jason, such as making his head completely black without any hints of battle damage and making his eyes clearly visible through the mask. Which, by the way, look way too soft for a vengeful monster such as Jason. Don't even get me started on how silly the machete is, basically being a barbarian sword instead of an implement tool.

Actually the long standing rumor was that Kevin Smith & Jason Mewes were asked if they wanted to play Jay & Silent Bob in this film Kevin turned down the offer siting how shitty he thought the script was but Mewes was interested and it was Kevin who said "I own the rights to Jay, and as your friend I'd be stupid to let you do this movie because not only is the film shit but they kill Jay, which means no more movies with Jay & Silent Bob if Jay is dead". Mewes was like "that's a very good point and I need to hold on to my meal ticket for as long as possible" so with Mewes & Smith passing on the project they cast Chris Gauthier & Brendan Fletcher (a Mewes look-a-like), IMO Fletcher's resemblance to Mewes was an intentional ploy that tricked fans into thinking Mewes was in the film.

Springwood is in Ohio and Camp Crystal Lake is in Blairstown, New Jersey. Freddy vs Jason we the fans waited for an unrated WWF extreme rules last man standing match , instead we got a PG era WWE tv match that was disappointing . I built : Jason Voorhees Jason X Freddy Krueger Michael Myers on my WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2011 and 2010 and 2009 games I put them in an fatal fourway ironman match with pinfalls,submissions and out of 13 matches in a row and the most victories went to : Jason Voorhees & Jason X proving that Jason would win in an all out fight no matter what.

I actually love this movie. It's a simple premise with some...questionable acting at times. However, when you go in to watch a movie titled "Freddy VS Jason". Now if we could get MORE slashers in this. Here's a simple plot idea: When one opens the Lament Configuration, it unleashes Pinhead, but this time, Pinhead has brought some friends to spread pain and pleasure; Freddy Krueger, Jason Vorhees, Michael Myers, and Leatherface. And only one guy can stop them. A man with a shotgun and a MOTHERFUCKIN' CHAINSAW HAND...Ash Williams.

Because her stupid ass needed closure While Will was fine to live and let live so to speak. I know they it is only a comic book. But I was pissed at her stupidly, but oddly happy that she was written to be killed off. Her only likable feature was her Fantastic rack in this movie.

My main problem with the film was the Main Girl's ENDLESS SCREAMING. Yes, it's a horror movie, people scream, but it seemed like literally every other second you got a blood curdling scream over nothing.
