Chiluba at his peak. In 1991 he was still in his honeymoon phase but history will judge him with much more nuance. One thing you cant deny is his master oratory skills.

You are very right but it is and it was practically impossible for FTJ and MMD to do that due to IMF's unfair demands on developing nations. The aim of IMF to kill industries in Africa so we can perpetually be the buyers of European countries.

This is what the westerners wanted to put 80% of minerals into private and 20% Gov't. What have we achieved? Surely we have learned a lesson hence Lubambe Gov't has acquired 30% and 49% in Mopani this is the way to go.
