FREDERIKSBORG Castle 4k Denmark Magnificent Halls Baroque Garden Epic Music Hillerod Travel Tour

Frederiksborg Castle is considered the Versailles of Denmark. It is located in Hillerød, which is not far from Copenhagen. Frederiksborg was built in the Renaissance style by King Frederick II, who was King of Denmark and Norway and Duke of Schleswig and Holstein from 1559 to 1588. The Neptune Fountain, created by the famous artist Adriaen de Vries, welcomes us with its water features. Then come with us to the magnificent palace chapel and on to the Audience Hall of King Christian V. Another highlight is the Great Hall, the Knights' Hall. The extensive baroque garden, designed by Johan Cornelius Krieger, invites you to take a relaxed walk.
