Another excellent teaching video! Do you have one on warming up? As I get older, warming up has become both more challenging and necessary. Perhaps you might also want to devote a video on breathing and how it’s related to the passage being played and the bowing being used. Thank you Dr Lynn!! 🙏🏻🎻

Hey 👋 everybody! Looks like I neglected to include Mistake #7.. 😂 Can anyone guess what it might be? What do you think it is? What’s YOUR most common mistake in your playing? 😀
@Xixi2010Z2 жыл бұрын
For me: Impatience, not treating violin practice is a gradual and constant effort. Thinking problems once fixed will be fixed for good. They usually require regular checking and fixing, like dental care.
@violynnkuo2 жыл бұрын
@@Xixi2010Z Impatience is a good one! And one I know all too well since my teacher Mr. Fenyves would tell me I practiced too quickly (because I was impatient)! I mentioned it in my video about him (3 Lessons I Learned From My Teacher): kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXncoX6tnMiIgrM

I'm sure worried you are going to drop your bow or violin in these videos with how you hold them and how you gesture while talking.
@violynnkuo2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching, Michael! Yes, that would be awful 🌊! Ironically, I’ve dropped my bow while at home practicing… and in the middle of performing Wieniawski Polonaise Brillante in A major in recital. 😳 😂
