I am still poking about on the USB 305 frequency Fred. I am a patient man and will keep trying to reach the UK group. This is a good video for those just getting into the CB radio hobby. The radio can be so surprising and outright amazing at times. We all have amazing many radio signal stories that we can share. The whole lesson to be learned is... Get a communications radio and antenna setup and just see for yourself. It is an awesome hobby that many will come to appreciate. Thanks for sharing Fred.

Because of these videos I've been listening on 305 USB looking for UK skip and the other day signals were faint from the UK! Could of been Fred and his crew!

Hello Fred, perhaps you can use a laptop cooling pad under your 9900, power it from an external 5v source. Nice also hearing station's calling then moving to another channel I use a cooling tray under the Stryker, slightly raised with 'door stop ' stand offs keeping the radio from turning into a slow cooker lol. Keep up the great videos Fred. Best 73, 108 CT 324

Fred, have you ever tried slant polarization for DX. You know what I use as an antenna and I put my T2LT at an angle and spoke to Alicanti ( spain) and Scotland very clearly, but local was poor. Maybe worth a go ? CT4089.

Muppet band got its name from the "MPT" Regulatory system, Fred. Transmissions are or were regulated by MPT licencing... even car remote key fobs. Can't remember off hand what "M.P.T" stood for!
