You forgot the best part! Diane caught wind of the ASPCA's yearly free cat adoption event, and demanded that her staff all go over there and grab as many as they could to "stock up" on free cats. The staff pointed out to her that this was _very_ illegal, a fact which Diane ignored and insisted they do so anyway. They refused, and she threw a tantrum. This is why she adopted several cats to live in the cafe. She'd gone over there herself with the intent to commit fraud, and found out that she couldn't get away with it if she followed through. So she had no choice but to keep the cats as permanent, unadoptable residents instead.

@@Mod0308 to be fair, Kathleen did mention that one of her boyfriends contributed work for the business, so Diane very much couldve learned via that. Well she has a point. We live in a society dependant on social media, that loves to throw around accusations. Social media can make or break a business. Influancers often use mafiatactics to bully businesses into giving them money. Dubious „consultants” imloy similar tactics. They thretten to defame a company if they don’t pay them for consultations. Anita Sarkesian tryed this with CD Project Red. Whilst established companies have the funds to employ lawyers and PR to destroy such people small companies rely on their owners who lack the proffesional skills needed to adres these threts. We Don’t know the whole picture. As a matter of fact the servicess of a „experianced” cat behaviourist that relocated 100+ miles to work in a Cat caffe ware not needed as they had no cats. It’s a fact. The owner clearly was poorly organised businesswise but something tells me that her employees wanted to destroy her and used social media to do so. The owner got herself dragged in a shitstorm on social media and had even less time to focus on her business. All in all this is what happens when you employ „experianced” cat behaviourists insted of a person who has the knowladge how to set up a business, a proper manager.

Alcoholism is no joke. My guess is Diane repeatedly drank herself into stupors by night and tried to damage control by day. Whatever lashing out she did to her staff may have been caused by hangovers. It's sad, really. She needed help and refused to take it.
@sorryifoldcomment85962 жыл бұрын
I agree, 100%. There is her general behavior & decisions, obviously, but also there are certain posts & messages where I'm pretty confident I know what "stage" of intoxication she was at! Like....randomly messaging Kathleen in the middle of the night...Totally in the "I don't care lol fuck everything" stage, after she had been drinking for hours and finally failed to stop herself from going online and sending those emails to her employees (& posting shit on Facebook). Only to come to later, see Kathleen's reply, and act surprised when Kathleen takes her email seriously and treats it like a serious, official, sober email from her boss, discussing whether or not she should be employed...and *not* just a drunk ramble from a drunk friend who is venting and not at all considering the consequences of what they're saying, who wouldn't send that email if they were sober...or if they did, they at least wouldn't be surprised at their employee's reply & act totally different in their own reply. ... Then there's bringing up Kathleen's "sex life" totally randomly & out of place - tacked onto a post: definitely angry, near black out rage typing. Followed by her quickly dropping the whole "Kathleen's sex life" topic & avoiding the criticism, while still clearly understanding that it wasn't wise to post about it like that to her business social media page...only to randomly post about it again, out of the blue, in the middle of the night, *months* later...for no clear reason. Besides being black out drunk & angry, which I'm convinced she was when she posted about Kathleen's sex life again. And then randomly sharing the link to Kathleen's video about her kink stuff or whatever?? Yeah, I'm convinced she was drunk as HELL and rage posting again, with no thought for the consequences. .... Sorry /end rant lol ✌ She is definitely an energetic and angry drunk - which is something I can relate to. _(Especially before I got my mental illnesses medicated & under control.)_

Being an alcoholic/addict myself (fortunately in recovery now for the last 6+ years), the one accusation that Diane is an alcoholic seems extremely likely. This reminds me so much of how arrogant and close-minded I was when I was using, and her statements that seem to be apologetic or moments of clarity also correlate to the times when I would go to detoxification and get out and try to take positive accountability for my actions. If she isn’t an alcoholic, she has a personality disorder. She is out of control.

She is definitely an alcoholic. :/ Thank you for sharing your perspective, as some people tend to downplay the effects of alcohol - especially in the name of "it's not an excuse," even when no one is trying to excuse the behavior. It's not an excuse, but it is important, and the role alcoholism played in the story of Purr Cat Cafe is undeniable...as well as relevant, considering how much of it is centered on Diane ranting on social media. Likely drunk rage posting. I'm 99% positive Diane had alcohol in her system while typing out all this stuff. I genuinely believe this story would have gone completely differently had Diane not been abusing alcohol the whole time (so always either drunk or hungover). It's incredibly depressing. But we might as well take advantage of the lesson it provides in how alcoholism destroys people's careers. (I count my blessings that I was just an opiate addict, spending my time either chilled & happy, unconscious, or too exhausted & miserable from withdrawals to post on social media. No energy left to make a fool of myself - only making a fool of myself by falling unconscious at work. Plus, people take heroin use seriously, unlike alcohol use. Any use of heroin is labeled as a problem. There's no shame in admitting "I can't handle my heroin use" even when using less than people drinking every day, etc.) /End rant. Glad you've been doing well! I am forever grateful that my drug of choice is so difficult to find and so damn expensive. If I could get heroin as easily and as cheaply as I can get alcohol, I'd be fucked. Imagining being able to buy a $10 hit of heroin while buying my groceries is a trip.

I'm a cat enthusiast. In fact, cat videos are the only ones on my channel bar a single skyrim upload lol And I actually work at a shelter, mostly in the cat corridors, and post for the shelter's Facebook page Everyone there are similarly cat lovers When you love cats, you want them to have a happy life; you get joy from them being happy. If the cats aren't happy, you shouldn't be. She's definitely enthusiastic. But that's not the only thing at play here But her passion is quite selfishly driven, and she seems to think she's always right and entitled to achieve her dream at any cost She wants to feel good on her own logic and perspective of the situation; she wants to see herself as a kind, charitable rescuer to cats, so much so that she actually doesn't even care about the cats themselves or their welfare. Her dream comes fast; the cats come second. She's doing this for herself and it's absolutely narcissistic Her role playing the cat actually is also quite the narc, because she's using it as a platform to talk extremely highly of herself on someone else's behalf. She gets to detract from critics by delivering the notion that she's a caring rescuer who's done nothing but help cats and have their utmost gratititude, whilst also putting herself in the role of a victim and affirming her lack of guilt and kindly nature through someone else, to make it seem as though others recognise her greatness and victimisation. If she wasn't using s damn cat as her supportive voice, as we all know the cat did not write that and it's just her words, then it would actually be an effective manipulation tactic. Thankfully she's too crazy and stupid it seems to be convincingly manipulative, but she's certainly trying.

The acceptance of polyamory has reached pretty disturbing levels if you get called an incel for disapproving of it. Polyamory is bad. A lot of times it's an excuse for people to cheat because they aren't willing to commit to their partner, and these relationships are often manipulative in nature. Chances are, your parents don't approve of polyamory. Are they incels?
@literallygaston24895 жыл бұрын
Mumgay There’s literally no proof that poly relationships are inherently bad. Are some of them toxic? Yes, but so are monogamic ones. I would myself never be in one because it’s not for me, but it can be for others. And why not wanting to be committed is a bad thing exactly? As long as people consent it sabe fine. From August of 2017 to October 2019 this woman went from slandering animal rescue foundations to attempting overdose on CAT medicine and writing about how we live in a society. She is a standard for all crazy cat ladies to strive for.

I must be a sane cat lady as my family has 8, with two known recurring strays outside (lots more in the woods but no idea how many) and I just want them to live as long as they can in happiness and healthiness. This lady is nothing of a standard, and I don't really have any standards XD

Obvious to anyone not afflicted with a high measure of autism, any "cool wine aunt" will have earned a gnarled and gruesome snatch so scarified and prolapsed that her drooping leathered labia appear as the glistening russet or tawny or ruddy colored heads of turtles or large-lipped freshwater fish or like the strange proboscis of an eyeless subterranean mammal adapted to gulping silt or high-sand ratio marsh mud in either its search for tiny arthopod-derived calories or else burrowing some sort of nesting cavern to rest its cock-weary scabbard flapped face. Make no mistake, any cool wine aunt has been dicked-down and split apart and dermatologically pulverized open by long prying motions from exceptionally lengthy and pharmaceutically enhanced erections, slickly and snappily pistoning in and out of her roastie snapper the same as her dong-beaten brapper, their veiny and thick tumescences disappearing into the given cool wine aunt with the metronomic cadence born solely of great cardio-pulmonary conditioning, slap, slap, slap, pummeling cunt and cloaca with great steady vigors. Simultaneous penetrations, public perversions, emictions and eliminations upon the sweaty faces of paying wide-mouthed "clients," the cool wine aunt acquires worldly knowledge of all high and low slut stuff, cruising correctional facilities' public parking lots for recently incarcerated males receptive to receiving the rippling petals of her gaping beef flower as a welcome-back-to-society gift, or, failing that, then descending into chemsex-fueled benders of nut butter-aided beastiality, emptying kennels of yet-tainted pup after predictable pup, using, abusing then hurling the not long ago unclean creatures tumbling tail over snout over the sides of bridges, overpasses, there relinquishing to nature the canine abominations that had so scandalously tasted the cool wine aunt's vaginal victuals, lapping and schlopping the high calorie treat all the while the writhing cool wine aunt's brapper and snapper are each firing their climactic flatus like tolling bells, thanking the pup, urging the pup on, loosing stools at climax as every women aches to do during their deepest orgasmic blisses, no skittish boyfriends to curtail their pleasure, the pup even gobbles up their kegel-launched logs and goes back to riveting clit work.
