It's intentional. At launch people are trigger happy with pulls, if you gave rate up on the standard banner, people would get the character/fortifications they want much earlier and spend a lot less. Right now there are definitely whales, going hard on the standard banner to get their V6 QJ etc. Once that's died down, that's when we'll get the feature I imagine within the next year.

Afaik it won´t work either way until you reached 260. So the strategy would be to pull as normal until you get your redeem and then wait until the selection is unlocked.

In a lot of other gacha games that have a "select your own rate up character" you have to hit the guaranteed select our character pity before that function becomes available. I can see them doing the same and you need to get your 260 pulls out of the way before you can select your rate up.

You are farming the wrong neural survey. there are two gold ones the V and VI. You need to go over to the next page for the VI ones which unlocks at 40. I am guessing you got your VI ones by letting the unit needing them taking you there automatically.

I think u should keep pulling on standard till you hit the selector cause you will get some SSR units or weapons along the way anyway to help progress your account along with a dupe or new unit at 260. So i would save after that to have some standard pulls saved when they start eventually implementing the rate up on standard

No, do not save, you're severely gimping yourself if you save. Also, by the time this feature comes out, you will already have a MUCH better team and Standard Banner characters will be much less valuable than they are now. In almost gacha games, Standard Banner characters become useless within a year or less. The same is true but to a lesser extent for the weapons. Standard Banner weapons will still have good value, as they can be used by any character, and a SSR stat stick is still a SSR stat stick. Plus, people tend to not pull on limited weapon banners compared to the character ones, so it's good to have SSR weapons laying around.

I don't think its been really stingy at all. I'd guess if people think it is stingy they are thinking of games with higher soft and hard pity threshholds. Not to mention they also give a ton more standard pulls than what I am used to.
