29:47 boring video ?? Nooo is a privilege to see you working with a long video with the hole process. I have one unit of 255rxt and is sad for me to see one in that bad shape. Ahhh and i didnt know the trick to remove the engine without removing driveshaft. Woha i will not cut any shaft from a 255rxt anymore !!! A lot of money saved with your videos. You are far from us (overseas), but you are a great mechanic. Appreciate u Calas If you ever come to Spain you have all free here. Only tell us. Best wishes for 2024.

Wao calas. That happens to me i buy a 2021 300 rxtx green one i paid really good for it this was a year ago i paid 12,000 only have 17 hrs. But i notice after i buy this white slutch at the oil cap and my brother tells me this oil posible have some water. Well i do the oil change and no water found but this jetsky was seating for more the a year with out starting it. I used it for about 4 hrs and PAMMM Timing chain broke. Well still have warranty and wen i bring it they start working on it about 2 months after they was busy but no they say the engine is really corroded and warranty is not going to paid for lack of maintenance 😂 and posible was water from when get towed with engine no running water got in the engine and PAMmm when they open it all rusty and engine lock 😂 when all the need was a timing chain and some gaskets. Sooooo forrr all you guys ifff you have some issues and engine no turn on and get towed please removed the spark plugs and removed any water from pistons and put some oil no matter 2 stroke any oil to prevent any rust 👍

So true about rescuing a flooded ski immediately. I once towed my ski without blocking the exhaust. Water went right to the top of the pistons. I immediately drained it, pulled the plugs, turned the engine over with lots of fogging fluid in it, didn't even have to change the oil and the 2006 GTX still works great 3 years later. I was surprised how tight the rings were, water did not go by them. Nice video to see all the parts.

That block can possibly be sleeved but probably not worth risking. I think that head can be cleaned up. But for Calas specs i wouldnt risk it unless its going on a stock jetski

I really hope never happens to me but if that is the case I'd probably pull the ski in pieces the same day 😂😂😂 just a question I leave the ski always up so no water sits below the engine and I vacuum the hull after every ride and wash... But my supercharge bolt holes (only those) have lost the black paint... That is the only wear you can see on my ski how is that possible?

if sea water went into the engine becos of a leaking intercooler , i changed engine oil immediately 4 times . do you suggest taking the motor apart still ?

it took me a lot longer to remove the supercharger......that one bolt in the back was a pain in the A$$ to get out

whats the best way to try and spin motor to check if it's locked up? I have this same ski. and seems locked up.

You can grab the drive shaft with a pair of pliers between the carbon seal and the motor

Could you send out the block and head to a place like millennium technologies for repair? Could the valve seats be removed to clean up the area and have new seats installed? Block be resleeved?

That's a good question. I wonder if that would be worth doing vs just buying a new block and head.

If the block was a 300 yes because there’s not many on the market as far as the head, there’s a ton of good cheap heads for sale
