How do you guys feel about the idea that you need to be able to throw 95 before you can learn how to command 95?
@Hicomrade123Ай бұрын
Isn’t it better to command a lower Velo and grow into higher velos? That seemed to work with mariners pitchers like George Kirby and Bryan woo, and seems more healthy for the arm. Idk tho just a thought
@fazec0ld802Ай бұрын
Makes total sense- how can you command 95 if you can’t even throw 95 to begin with? You could literally build a syllogistic logical equation around that sentence, that’s how solid it is
@uhhcoolstory5627Ай бұрын
@@Hicomrade123Then why would they tell some of their minor league guys to throw harder or they probably won’t have a job🧐 Can’t command gas if you can’t throw gas

Honestly I hate the idea, however unfortunately I think it’s the best and most affective process in the modern game

the editing on this one is 🔥 absolutely great work and time well spent edit: i would like to add that i found the first clip where it showed the pitch movement to be better than the second, as you see it pop up with the movement rather than just having it there already

First comment, I’ve video study you guys for a while. Been working out my plyometric at my local gym and weight lifting. And improved my mechanics. Try to push harder.

So by having all these kids throw 95 or more you guys want them to pitch out of the bullpen? A good pitcher throws strikes and has command of all his off speed pitches! An MLB hitter can hit 95 and more, work more on your command and off speed pitches that’s what makes a pitcher! From a former pitcher who now works for the San Diego Padres!

1:50 that's not what ballistic means. It doesn't mean "fast" or "explosive" it means following a parabolic trajectory under the force of gravity.
@treadathleticsАй бұрын
In sports, ballistic refers to high-velocity, explosive movements. Ballistic training involves explosively projecting the body or an external object into a flight phase.
