Hey Amner, I got a question. While trying to use this as an effect (vst plugin) in reapear, it will not display the full screen in the 'add fx window', only about a quarter of the bias fx screen is visible. Is that because it's only a demo version?? I'm concerned about purchasing the full version if I can't demo it in a practical application. Thanks for all your tips, Keith.🤘🎸

Looking forward to give it a test drive. Been relying pretty heavily on the 32 bit Soft Amp stuff for my Twin sounds. And while I like the Rollamp for Vox stuff it is a little too Brian May when I am looking more for Mike Campbell/Tom Petty type sounds.

I downloaded it the other day and I was really surprised by the amp models they included. Really impressed by this. Gets really great tones. Really like the 04 Insane model. And the selection of cabinets is awesome.

I don't know about the LE version but I really like Bias FX 2 a lot, some of my friends even have presets on the cloud.

This is a great deal for an all in one, guitar/FX/Amp/Cab bundle. The only thing I really actively don't like is how you can't tell if a preset on ToneCloud needs plugins/features that need to be purchased separately until you download it and try it out and hear static every few seconds. That's super annoying. (If there's a way to tell which presets work with the free/basic bundle, someone please let me know!)

Downloaded it and tried the orange amp with only a tube screamer and delay. Sounds very good 👍 And in my humble opinion pretty close to the real thing! Thanks for the video and plugin alert! Seems like BIAS FX 2 LE does not work in MacOs Monterey 12.3.1 (latest) and Reaper DAW v6.54 (latest) - I do not see the signal chain drawing in the top portion of the screen? Anyone has a clue?

Are you using an M1 Mac or Intel? Be sure to RTFM as some menus and views do not have the signal chain flow.

CPU usage isn't too bad. There are more CPU efficient simulators out there, but they usually don't have this level of customization that BIAS FX offers. If you're running an older system, you'd probably only get a handful of instances before you need to freeze tracks.

Yeah, it has a good cpu performance, it’s not too much or exaggerated, I had like 3 instances of the plugins and everything worked fine.

@@AmnerHunter He runs another KZbin channel that often features free plugins, Audio Tech TV, I thought you might have been aware of his channel. It really doesn't matter, I just commented offhand because I was going through my "watch later" list, and had just finished downloading the plugin while watching his review, and was eagerly waiting to watch your latest video and get another new amp package, only to find it was the same one that he'd reviewed a couple of days earlier, hence the comment! Nothing to worry about Amner, you both reviewed it in different ways. He makes rock and punk influenced music, not metal, so both reviews are great! 🙂👍

Oh yes, i am aware of his channel haha yeah he often is very quick to make the videos but as you mentioned, cool thing is that every person has a different way of approaching the plugins and stuff so all good :) I don't see them as competition for that exact thing I am talking about.

Thanks but Positive Grid is pretty lame. WTF, no full featured demo version. Even this free version locks out MIDI inputs so you can't uses any MIDI controllers/pedals. The limited presets (3 or 4) from each genre sound like they could be useful but not really worth it with other full featured demo's available (e.g. TH-U Overloud or Neural).
