It's official in my book....the '13 Niskayuna Seniors DO ROCK! OK...this was June 2013. I grad. hi school in Arizona in '73....so what is that...40 years earlier. Free Bird came out just a few months after I grad. hs in '73....and I saw the original band Lynyrd Skynyrd do it live in different shows maybe 5 or 6 times during the years after that. I've heard Free Bird probably 200K times in my life since, and I STILL dig it. And I'll be honest....when that redhaired lead guitar player hit those particularly tough licks at around 5:25....the hair on my 67 yr. old arms came STRAIGHT UP, I'm not joking. Those guys nailed it pretty damn good.....especially for 17-18 yr. olds. Man, I'm glad I surfed into this! Hopefully they ALL got laid that night.....and have all gone onto the sane and steady pursuit of their dreams as now mid to late 20's men...likely with families. God Bless that entire school. So wonderful to see guys so much younger that dig the heavy rock we Boomers burned lotsa ganga to then, lol.

This brought tears to my eyes! I saw Skynyrd at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia right before they died. I never got over their deaths, love em!

Great job! I lived up there back then. My most recent "viral" video is also "Free Bird" and the analytics indicated that this was one of the videos people would watch before and after, so they fed each other. Jeesh, these "kids" would be in their late 20's now. Awesome to finally find the match to my band's performance video. Rock on, and I hope they're still performing.

What really catches my eye on this video, is great musicianship by these seniors and the fun they are having playing! Well done to all of you! I hope you kept on playing well past your high school years.

Very good cover by some talented young men. The drummer has some serious sticks!
