I agree. This is the first time you have talked well of the camper, other than the day you brought it home. Nice to see you putting a few of your things up to make it your home (for now). Those pillows hopefully will not squish flat in a few months. Please do an update in a month and another in a year & let us know your opinion after "test driving" them. New feels good the first few days, but it's the long haul I'm interested in knowing how they hold up.

Have had the mattresses for over a couple months and still love them. I only do reviews on things I have tried, not just unbox and recommend because it was free. If I say I recommend something then I have honestly tried it and feel that I can stand behind that product to the best of my knowledge at that time. I have always spoke well of the camper being a blessing from day 1. I have also always been truly grateful for it. Guess people think that calling it the “Ugly Camper” is derogatory and it is not at all, never was. That is just how some people took it and if you watch the videos and see my true reaction and love for this temporary home you know that.

Looks like the old mattresses were what RV manufacturers call a twin. They are narrower than a standard twin mattress.

love what you have done so far. For some free design advice, consider this. Use the fabrics you love the most to decide your color choices and fabrics for the cabin. You can use clothes or anything really. For example Decide what color you like best in either your moose curtains or your moose blanket. If that color is blue, then choose your big color items in that color: walls, sheets, towels, etc. For accessories, go with the other two favorites, one as close to yellow as there is in the fabric and one red. Yellow red and blue makes design decisions coordinated and most importantly SIMPLE. . The other big decision is do you prefer whites or beige. Once you decide, take photos of those colors and use them when you shop.

if you choose green, then decide whether it is more yellow green or blue green. then use that color in the yellow or blue slot. same with purple (more blue or more red? ), and brown (more red or more yellow? ) black white beige and some browns can be considered neutrals. So your curtains right now have a lovely soothing blue for a bedroom color. (but almost no white.) It has a perfect brown and green for a sofa or chairs. Love the red orange pattern for towels and accent color. And the soft golden glow color is a perfect color for living room walls, floors, wood trim, etc.

In the cabin I will probably go with a rusted red color, darker blues, dark greens, browns, and off white. The walls will be wood of varying shades from lighter medium to dark. Don’t care for gold, yellow etc. Decor is so far away on the cabin but have started to think about it some.

Lol! We love our foam mattress! It is amazing! Two. Hints…be sure to put on a waterproof mattresses cover, for those sweaty summer nights, and I put a safety pin on the top end of the sheet to make it easier to decide what is “top” and what “side”!

Wow, what a nice addition to your camper and for your cabin when complete. You could even just use one mattress on your bed for now, stand the other mattress up on its side and use the extra space in front of it for storage until you move into your cabin. This would give you extra walking space for now. 🥰

Would it be more comfortable if you stacked the two old mattresses on top of each other? I had a camper with bunk beds and no one ever used the top one so I stacked the mattresses together and it made it more comfortable on the bottom bunk that was used.

Make sure you add base for those extra 4". You don't want to roll to that side when asleep and end up between the two beds, plus you and they need support. Sleep well.

It is, after a couple months using the mattress I sleep well and it’s still super comfortable. The pillows were a little too thick for me to sleep on but I use them for decor on the beds. Love my mattresses! Happy New Year!!
