We've had this one marked on our map since your original visit really appreciate the update and as always you're still the king of campsite reviews :-)

It's refreshing (especially at the start of winter) to see more of your videos, Lou! I hope you had a great Christmas with family and we are looking forward to seeing more of you in 2025!

My wife and I love exploring the mountains. Spruce knob Lake, Island campground (because often empty) and Red creek at the Sods are our favorites. Hoping to visit Gandy creek in March to see if we can convince some trout to jump in our cooler. We really appreciate the effort you all put into showing campsites throughout the MNF because it helps us plan our trips. We're still raising our kids and they are involved in lots of activities so we have to make the best use of our time when we are able to get away for a few days. I'm grateful that my wife and kids love camping. Thank you all!

That was COWS "wailing" that you heard. Nothing to worry about, Probably Babies being weans from Mom, and Mom isn't happy, needs to have milk removed, babies not happy they can't remove that milk. LOL

@@LivingOurDreamNow There is or at least was a farm up at the top of that hill, where you were hearing the wailing. There used to be a gate at the bottom of the road that goes up there. It has been a year or so since we have been there, so I don't remember if the gate was still there. I LOVE Spruce Knob and Gandy Creek. That was our first camping area when Hubby and I first got married back in 1971. So we have been around that area quite a bit. Thanks for the videos in those "No Fee" areas. We do enjoy them.
