I recently completed the packet tracer course. They explain this pretty thoroughly. You can actually trace packets per protocols. Again, what is different about your teaching is not just the content, but the method. It's progressing and when you've introduced concepts that were not discussed before you've mentioned it. This keeps the student focused on the course. There are lots of teaching online that would just throw in new concepts without ever considering their students levels. Again, thank very much for your work. Subscribed, liked and will most definitely contribute - I just need to get to work :D

If you build the lab yourself, you will have to configure the devices. I haven't taught you how to do that yet (I will teach you later in the course), so I recommend downloading my lab files from the top line of the description. In my lab files, everything is already set up.

Switches send STP frames once every 2 seconds by default, and the routers are using OSPF to share routing information with each other. You'll learn about these protocols later in the course!
