Excellent idea and a very creative use of a farming waste material. I have several suggestions to refine the machine. 1) Make the feed tube a large funnel so the operator does not have to be so careful about feeding the peels. 2) With the cutter head you have now, I will suggest running the bananas skins through the machine twice. This will produce a chip that is a better size for the chickens. 3) Find a container you can place beneath the cutter box that the chips drop in to. This will speed up handling. Add a curtain around the cutting head outlet the catches the chips that are not falling straight down. Regular fabric will do. Size the curtain so it falls within the container. 4) When you have the opportunity, make another cutting head with spacing about half of this cutter. Tighter spacing will produce a finer chip in one pass through the cutter, speeding up the process. 5) do you have access to corn stalks, sorghum stalks, bagasse or corn cobs and husks? Try this cutter head to chop stalks for your big farm animals. Keep trying to get better and make improvements! Good Job! 😊👍

Very creative indeed! Add a larger plastic or aluminum container above where you insert the peeling. Let the container have a small outlet velow so that you can place large amounts of peeling and they dlow down, just like on a manual corn hauling machine. Great job.

Yes it's a welcome innovation .This could be the first step.next could be drying and mixing with velvet beans flour , charcoal ,paw paw leaves etc in a pellet making machine.Even the fresh peels after chopping can be put +other ingredients direct in pellet making machine.That is the idea I get. A very good invention. Maybe you can make the grinding blades smaller so the feed will be grinded in smaller pieces which will give you more feed. Also, you can dry the feed, grind it into a fine powder and add it to other things like corn and wheat to give your chickens a more balanced feed.

Well enough even our chickens eat from the compost bin, obviously they would they are herbivores. But what is in a banana peel to supplement sunflower seeds, maize, and sorghum? Which is the traditional feed sold in stores and given to fowl livestock. This is not enough, I thought that your machine might do some mixing as one might do to produce rabbit feed. Now that is an innovation. I saw some guys on IG who made homemade machines to do that. They used to throw in eggs and other things, and poof out rabbit feed. Now, eggs are pretty darn expensive, and you might need many to satisfy your livestock. Blah blah blah, I am looking for good inventions or making my own. This is mediocre. Oh, remove the bicycle tire, it is wasting maneuverability space for you the user! That is one improvement. Maybe install a break like you would have on a sewing machine or piano, one that works with the foot. Make the rubber easily changeable. Have a rubber at the center of the wheel frame and a rubber bit to press on it to stop it. Good luck.
