The prices dropped in around December due to excess supply and then start going up from February. Really can’t wait to join your academy to learn from you. Big up Dr Daniel. Excellent video, thank you!! Maybe you can try to make/use a low cost mechanical ventilation system to be able to store the bran and the maize kernels better/longer. Also pile the bags so that air can get through better. And like you said, a silo would be even better but more costly...

Just a thought, not a farmer nor am I educated in this , in one of your previous videos you showed a mixer,. Could you not get a silo dedicated to starter feed and one silo for layer feed. Perhaps use the mixer to pre make the feed and use the silo to store it and rashen it out daily then can shorten time?

The biggest mistake layer farmers make is using substandard lime. This in turn leads to soft egg shells that the chicken can easily eat up when laid. Farmers record a very low production percentage not knowing the root cause, happened to me!

You should get a pellet machine to be abel to fix a done mix and it will take less space, easier to feed chickens, and should store the feed better and longer🤔

You could buy a cement mixer to help with mixing the feed. They are available in many different sizes. I would also look into steel silos for storage. A 12 volt electric fence unit will keep rats and mice at bay. Good luck Dr. I am enjoying your channel very much. Thank you.

But, in Uganda the biggest challenge to me, is getting a market for what you produce. I wonder how you go about it at your farm. Farming in Uganda it's easier if you have got land as most people do.
