I am very impressed by your critical thinking. Inventing your own solutions to problems that others may simply accept. Another good source of calcium that is free to you is egg shells. Simply dry them in the sun and crush them in your hand. Good strong bones and thick strong egg shells for free. If you have customers who buy many eggs - ask them to save the shells for you. When you deliver eggs, you can retrieve the shells! 🤓👍

Thanks for the useful tips, can this feed the broilers too for grower?
@creativehomeprojects3 ай бұрын
You are most welcome,for broilers we use only maize brand,broken maize and the concentrate,meat booster(optional),plus the banana peels. And it's 70kg of maize brand+30kg of broken maize+20kg of the broiler concentrate+1kg of meat boaster(optional) and while feeding time,we add 4 to 5kg of banana peels per 10kg of the mixed feed. "Well wishes"

What is the production percentage of layers using this formula?
@creativehomeprojects2 ай бұрын
Great hearing from you. For sure I don't recommend one to use this formula with a layers, For layers,we make some few changes in the formula. Instead of using 15kg of the concentrate per 100kg of maize brand,we instead use 25kg of the concentrate to enhance production. Then,we try adding broken maize and we get 20kg of broken maize and add it to 80kg of the maize brand. Then we add,15kg of lime or snail shells,then 1kg of animal salt,1kg of premix and 1kg of egg booster in some instances. Hope I have tried to respond to your question, otherwise you can still let me know if this is not satisfying. Thank you

How mach is lime and premix?
@creativehomeprojects4 ай бұрын
Lime is always priced at 25000ugx per 50kg,it's always packed in a sack and weighs 50kg per sack and premix is just 6000ugx per kg,this premix is always packed in a packet and is always half a kg per packet, meaning for 1kg you get to packets,so its 3000ugx per packet. Hope I have tried answering your question,thank you for responding to our video

Do u separate cocks from hens when they reach a time for laying Like after 3-4months... Or u sell them and bring cocks from outside.. What do you talk of In-breeding..?? Thank you.
@creativehomeprojects3 ай бұрын
Great hearing from you. Thanks for the question,and any of the options is possible depending on what we need to do with the offsprings. Incase we wish to produce another parent stock,I mean hatching chicks that we sell to other people to breed also,we sell off all our cocks and introduce in other new unrelated cock to avoid inbreeding. But for the case where we hatch eggs to raise chicken that we sell at 4months for consumption,it's fine using our own cocks,and inbreeding here doesn't not impact our final produce alot. And even if you want to bring in new cocks or not,at around 3 months,we first separate the cocks from the hens and then feed them differently. Hope this responds to your question

Tell me. How much to make it. Please the cost compared with other feeds thanks.
@creativehomeprojects4 ай бұрын
Weldone and great hearing from you. Now about the cost of feed, I am not certain of your nationality but in my own local currency,this feed costs around (800 to 1000)ugs per kg and comparing to the average price of feed which is around 1500ugs per kg. And what the following lead us to that reduction of the cost of chicken feed. -Part of our feed is something locally available for free and these are banana peelings(this helps us reduce to cost by 20%) -Then secondly we mix the feed by ourselves on the farm, remember if you buy mixed feed,there is an added cost for mixing - Then lastly,it's from the unique formula that we use,and this formula is specific for local breed and cross breeds. In this formula we reduce on the quantities of some ingredients like the concentrate which is the most expensive ingredient in our formula ( and what we use is just enough,we don't compromise on the quality of feed needed for maximum production). Meanwhile I need to hear from you to confirm if I have responded to your concern. Otherwise thank you for responding to our video,we appreciate your presence

@creativehomeprojects4 ай бұрын
Great hearing from you @jeradinendila. It's actually fine,and it's easy also. We need to consider a few factors before we come up with a formula for mixing. One,I need to know the breed of chicken that you have. Secondly,the age of the birds,how old are they. And lastly the feeding material that you can access
