Thank you! I'm glad you found it helpful 😉 This type of consent is one I've had to interpret very frequently.

I needed just a little more time to interpret into spanish. The beginning of the video was fine but the last part was longer and the pauses were too short if interpreting consecutively. I was trying to do the interpretation without pausing the video. The video was a great practice. Thank you!!!

Great job and thank you! It was meant to be paused to interpret as I thought that would be easier since everyone can take their time to interpret but now I see that it's best to include long pauses so people don't have to stop the video so I'll keep that in mind for future practices.

@@Interprepedia Thank you. I think people expect to have the time that would normally take someone like you with your experience to evaluate their practice each time. You know that speedy is also important specially when we're doing simultaneous interpreting.

How do I know if I got it right or wrong? I’m trying to see if I said it right in Spanish.
@Interprepedia3 жыл бұрын
Hi, Lalamaziiing! Since it's a language neutral practice, what you can do is download the script (link in the description box) and record yourself while you interpret. Listening to the recording, you can compare your interpretation to the script and use dictionaries or other resources to make sure the interpretation is correct. Good luck!

Just be honest to yourself and do what is prompt in the instructions provided. Check your recording to see your accuracy level. Do it as if you are already doing face-to-face interpreting. Practice makes perfect. Good luck!!!

Way too fast on some segments where the doctor is speaking.

True 🫤 sadly, in real life (and in some tests) they speak even faster…
