A little while ago I scored a FREE!! lt1000 from a neighbor it needed a carb clean new gas more earl and a charged battery runs awesome solenoid is bad so it floods itself if you don't clamp off the fuel. On a different note you should see how that Scott's by John deere runs the next time you need to mow.

That's the same Tractor I have at home. This should be a learning experience for me. The say the 19 HP is a bad engine. I had to replace my 19 HP with a NEW Twin 20 HP Briggs.

Check for corrosion on connections, load test the battery or jump pack, or your bendix on starter is donski. Then worry about compression release and valves being out of spec.

Henry you cant put oil on the starter shaft like that makes it slip .

I saw that…lol. I always put penetrating oil on it when it’s seized on the Bendix and shaft.
