You def wont regret buying this lock. The same installer did a fantastic job installing the lock for me. I chose gold instead of black as black out of stock :(.I feel that laminating with matt black on the door would look perfect for your house,i would feel a bit weird to have a 'slab' of brown when everything is black or other color.Just wondering are you going to do gate lock?

Thanks for the feedback! The lock does looks and feel great. Yeah, we likely gonna go ahead with the laminate to make everything smoother. We gonna be removing the gate likely- maybe replacing it or no gate.

@@NiJiaCasa No gate is not a v good idea. At least got gate means additional security on top of digital lock and ring doorbell

A smart lock definitely would be better Connected to home network . And setup from phone. Acess from phone Automation . And some auto lock the bolt at the dame time

Nice but if you change the door colour, you might need to take down the digital lock too so that it look seamless. Just to share, happy reno

Yeahhh! We very likely have to remove the lock to replace the laminate. Considering at the moment!
