Free Discord Level / Rank Roles (Arcane Bot Setup)

Mee6 sucks since you need to pay to get level up rewards. Fortunately, if you use Arcane bot you can have level up rewards for free. While Arcane bot still does have restrictions with their premium features, you don't need them to have level or rank role rewards. This video will show you how to set up your discord server and how to set up arcane for aesthetic role rewards.
Using this system, you could easily scale this into a permission focused role reward where achieving a certain level will unlock certain permissions. I currently use Arcane on my discord server to restrict image and embed permissions until members are active enough to understand the rules. This also blocks out potential image spam of bad content.
Moreover the Arcane KZbin thing might work and I was just and idiot, I'll find out soon.

Is there a way to set up a leveling scheme where there are multiple parallel roles you can level through? For example, roles you earn for participating in one channel, and another set of roles for participating in another channel. So you basically have two leveling trees based on how you interact with the server.

Something similar which would also be really cool if it existed are faction levels. When joining a server, you can choose between several factions. Example of Factions 🟣 - Lavender Faction 🔴 - Rose Faction And depending on the faction you choose, you get different level up roles. If you were in the Lavender Faction then you’ll get “Nebula (Lvl 5)” as a role but if you were in the Rose Faction then you’d get “Flame (Lvl 5)” upon reaching level 5 Of course, role names will be customizable.

How do I disable or restrict commands? / Where did command restrictions go? Command restrictions hasn't been available on our Dashboard for a few years now. Command permissions are now found in: Discord server settings -> integrations -> Arcane

Rewriting a large bot is not easy, let alone maintaining it. We have decided for the time being its in our best interest to prioritize rewriting the bot rather than responding to people who cannot read #outages or the dashboard. 90% of users do not read even if its in bold red text with 1000 point font, and this is a fact. KZbin's API that powers our notification system is really janky and has been a pain in my butt for months and wont raise our limits. It's going to be janky until KZbin cares to raise our limits unfortunately.

I completely agree with your viewpoint regarding improving the bot rather than helping commonly asked questions but the dashboard status page is abysmal. KZbin notifications have been down for a week and there is nothing on the status page indicating it. I understand that the KZbin Data API is an absolute pain in the ass to deal with but not having an updated status page that provides tangible information makes it hard for me to ignore the lacklustre support on your server. As a consumer, I still stand by my opinion that premium is not worth it. However, the free version of Arcane is so good that rather than spending a monthly subscription I would be more inclined to send a small one time donation. This is because the free bot has been incredibly useful and is the easiest free bot to use for level up roles. I hope that once the bot is rewritten, there will be more focus towards supporting users.

The status page is not 100% indicative of the youtube status due to it only checking if our service is actively checking channels which it always is. It just has to do all 40 to 50,000 channels very very slowly so it misses a lot of them.

anyone know why once someone’s reached level 15 in my server the bot stopped giving roles 😐. arcane has manage roles permissions and the roles are set up in the correct order as well. was this maybe just a fluke and possibly happened because the bot was down at that time? because it has been giving roles just fine up until now.

Someone pls help. Arcane bot doesn't seem to give anyone in my server xp unless they spam. Everyone stays on the same xp for like hours. Even if they are chatting. One of my members has been stuck on 71 xp for hours and I don't know how the support server is useless, so I have no answers. I don't want to have to give xp manually because then why even use the bot.
